Ok, I'm just dreaming really but I noticed something on these pictures: If you go to the ship editor (the one in five steps) it says sea VEHICLE, notive that the objective on this picture (top left) says build a sea UNIT, more proof? Also, if you go to spore.com, you will see on the intro that it starts with a cell and goes to a WATER creature, fin and everything, how could there NOT be water creatures? :)

your right but matter is matter is it a solid or ligued and it has to be thin otherwise the creacher would be clayed in

since its on a different planet maybe its not water at all and may have a different properties so it may not ripple like regular water

the big creacher i think is very poorly done they have a bellie botton but no ripples no track marks in the sand and the water looks like plastic even though i agree with spore(e)k that it can't be water based beacuse it whould die but i think it chould just be walking through the water

It's hard to think that creature lives in that tiny pond, it would have no food to support its no doubt raging hunger. but i guess it could just move from pond to pond wallowing about, like some sort of super hippo beast. So i guess it was just having a nice mudbath when some rude tank woke him up and pi**ed him off royally. enough ecological analysis though, that thing is awesome. it's interesting that it has a bellybutton as well.

the details suck as mach gust said i think they need better grafics even though that means more ram(probaly) and if i can barly play the sims 2 that means new com or no spore i will take new com anyday

Oh, in all seriousness though... I sure hope they do a little better job with object collision. There aren't even any water ripples or anything when that giant thing is stepping through the water. Details like that are key to making the game fully immersing.

those objectives are there during the whole game, but its optional. its just a suggestion so players who would rather play with a structured goal in mind wont get scarred away by having too much to do.

interested in the objectives window (top left) so i guess its less of a sandbox at this stage than i thought..
