I heard that the space phase has the amin villain of the whole game called grobbs, (borg spoken backwords) and that they attack your planet soon after you achieve space phase and then they prevent you from getting to the galactic center which is the apparent goal of the whole game which is the end game where no one knows what happens then you enter sandbox phase, but this is just a rumor....

i wish the planets did not line up always like that
vincent9567 - May 04, 2008 05:04 PM

reallybigsporefan - May 01, 2008 02:36 PM

can anybody explain to me the deal with the black hole. i didn't understand exactly wat will wright was explaining in those videos. will players be able to extract its energy or something??
Marv303 - Apr 01, 2008 05:41 AM
do you reckon you can go to the sun with some sort of upgrade obviously? an then you can make some sort of sun-dwelling lava-creatures which feed on energy?

This picture is awsome!
sporekiller - Mar 06, 2008 12:53 PM
i wonder if there is a more highpowered abucter so you can through a planet into anothere one and make a whole new star system thing
lowlow2 - Feb 27, 2008 12:04 PM
mayby i could set fire to a gas giant and cause a new sun making the moons nearby melt... MUHAHHA good bye nearby life forms!
manaphysporelover11 - Feb 24, 2008 12:37 AM
i think its being sucked in look at the little button near the thingy. it has a ship with rings and a dot.
space eagle - Feb 22, 2008 06:22 PM
well id say if you flew through a gas giant you would be crushed by its imense pressure. kind of like going down into the ocean using a submarine. you can only go so far before getting squished like a tin can.
pvt. ryan - Feb 19, 2008 06:57 AM
oh and if you are on a gas giants moon will it block out the sun now and then like in the picture and if yr planet has a ring will it act like the moon at night and reflect the suns light at night
pvt. ryan - Feb 19, 2008 06:53 AM
i knew i wasnt completly wrong
Nykrus - Feb 18, 2008 04:41 PM
There's a bit of truth to both of these - yes, there is a solid surface on gas giants, but it's so far down that you would be crushed by pressure (not gravity). As for landing or flying through them, It's doubtful - the only shots of gas giants were of their nearby moons.
Sathure - Feb 16, 2008 04:47 PM
Gas giants lack a solid surface. It wouldn't matter if you could enter the atmosphere. Theres nothing to land on.
baboon101 - Feb 16, 2008 12:05 AM
Actually, because Saturn's "surface" is so far from its center, it's gravity is only 1.08 times that of earth.
pvt. ryan - Feb 15, 2008 10:01 AM
i dont think u can im not sure but from what ive seen on history chanal u would be crushed from gravaty before u hit ground on gas giants withch is very far down
Bobarian - Feb 13, 2008 11:06 PM
have they ever said anything about landing/flying through gas giants
