Lets Make a Suggestion
Infinity Ward are the developers of Call of Duty 1, 2 and 4. They're also starting work on Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (COD 6). They've setup a very cool suggestion system based on the backbone of Twitter. Users can use their twitter account in order to make suggestions for the game. Users can vote on the best suggestions (in a digg-like fashion) which are shown in a leaderboard. Check out the Modern Warfare 2 Twitter page.
I personally came up with a cool suggestion. How about taking a concept from Spore (Dynamically Created Content) and applying it to a system where multiplayer maps are generated on the fly. This way you're able to completely avoid the redundancy / repetitive nature of playing the same maps over and over.

Xpore is dying because Spore was suppose to be a great game. Spore is the real proof that EA no longer want to make fun games, all they want to do is ruin great ideas and try to make us pay for expansions packs that just add a few "poops" to the "game". SPORE WAS THE GREATEST SHIT I EVER PLAYED! WHO GONNA BUY GALACTIC ADVENTURES? CRAZY DRM PEOPLE!? HATE EA!

Man, you guys are dumb... Anyway, people say xSpore is on its death throes, but there are still a fair bit of people doing things on most of the forums. Just because no one gives two shits about the news doesn't mean there aren't people on the site. We're actually still getting new and active members who are interesting to talk to, which is good considering the average new member simply shows up and whines till they're scared away.

You are pathetic, fool. Is "Last Post" all you amount to in life? (God I love flaming, although this is very mild lol) I admit, Spore was "fun" in the beginning, but now it is a major flop. Lets just hope Wright does a better job with his next game. And he should stay the fuck away from EA! They ruined his game by rushing him and mining his game with DRM. There has been plenty of spore news. If the person running this site isn't going to keep up on it, at least have the decency to give some sort of closure. Keep the forums and such going, but announce if you are going to stop giving news.

I actually thought of the procedural map idea for Left 4 Dead. It'd be semi-random based on simple maze generation algorithms and set path-split points, but if I can get it to work it might actually be pretty good. None of the people I've talked to about it think it'd be any good at all. They're like "how do you know where to go?" Think I didn't think of that? How about those "safe house this way" marks? Didn't think I could use those too?
