Spore at SETI
If you happen to be in the San Francisco Bay area on July 19th then be sure to head over to the SETI institute between 1:00-3:00 p.m. It is free admission and you will be able to check Spore out there.
It is a hands on science event aimed at youth between 8-15 but Im sure many people will be there just for Spore.

wish I could go there. My brother could who live there but he's not into gaming.. i wasn't till sims and spore, hehe. Hey, saw the E3 2008 developer video 2. Just wondering ... while your creature is having conversations with a new neighboring tribe, can the creatures in the background (in video, see creatures attacked by epic) attack your creatures while you are in the middle of making peace with your neighbors?? that would be cool. make it less of a turn-based or queue feeling with events.

The official Spore application for facebook has been updated somewhat. Now you can bookmark favorite creatures (only featured ones so far) and display your own. Looks like its shaping up to be another great way to show off your little creations.

i think you can go on g4tv.com right now or later today to download anything you missed from the show, wheather its the conferences to the demos! But don't get ur hopes up on the Spore demo bc there was no demo, it was just one of the producers talking about SPORE! the footage was taken from the trailer so theres nothing new, but Lucy Brodashaw who was speak, when a little in-depth with some detail so i would check it out if you have a chance!

SPORE will be on TODAY!!!! on G4, they just said it, they will have it on today, the 3rd adn final day!! i told u, lol they could not fit it on yesterday!!!! EVERYONE I YOU HAVE G4, PUT IT ON IT WILL COME ON SHORTLY!!!!

I was in that Area last month. Now back on the East Coast oh well. Be next few years when I go back to West Coast. By the way San Fransico was a nice trip! I was only there 1 day end of my trip.
