I still haven't seen any videos here yet.. I'm trying to spread them out till the game release.. Cause I get such an appetite for more videos when there is none! >_<

I just noticed that at 4:57 on the blue#2 the wing's attributes are shown and the wings give 1+ jump 1+ charm and 2+ glide so with the wings you have the ablility to glide for a period of time, but not flight

well it looks like there almost done. they might need some refineing in the creauters (SP) without legs area

I bet you a million dollars thousands of people will buy the bundle just for the editor, only for it to be released free on the internet the next day.

probably isn't because the false releases and false hopes means that the demo will be about two weeks away from launch because some "bug" is going to occur.

i know i really want to be excited but it's coming from amazon and it's all being judged by the cover picture of "the simcity box" so there's nothing that is really "confirmed" but if it's true that's awesome becuase that's more than 3 months of have the CC to play with! I'm getting excited now... i hope it's true...

the "bumpy" skin is still in. Its just that u design the layout of the creature then u do the texturing after. I imagine this would be to save time in the CC as the texturing would be different depending on your creatures configuration so every change would require a timely retexturing. You design the creature (only picking a generic skin colour during design, then do texturing later which can give the bumpy skin look.

If your creature doesn't have legs it slithers like a snake or a worm. But I bet they will be able to hover if they have wings. No flying but perhaps gliding and hovering with those things

Id imagine thet the realistic bumpy skin may depend on the config the game is set at. perhps some of the pic were from lower specced games.

hi if anyone can answer my questions, that will be great! ok 1st, wat does CC mean? and Second, on the older videos with the new format for when you create your creature, you can have bumby skin that looks very real. I have not seen anything like that with the new format and new videos, all the skin is flat and blahh...will you still be able to make bumby realistic skin?? Thank You!!

At 5:01, in the lower left corner, you can peek at the popup for the feathery wings. They confer the "glide" ability, as well as "jump" and "climb." I can't wait to see a video of something flying.

Ezekel: Um, in blue #2 that show a creature with a stump. The user rwmoved the default hand and was left with a stump, to which he added a spike instead. Try watching the whole video.

I can't see why whe would see that loading screen a lot. Will showed many times the space phase, traveling from planets to planets with no loading at all. I believe we'll only see loadings screens from a phase to another.

Did someone saw the loading image at The Space Stage demo video? That spiral, like in Spore.com, with "Loading" on it and dots around. I bet we will see it a lot. Oh yes we willl...

I think the Green #1 was trying to walk on it's elbows but the creature at times appeared to be hovering... very cool though knowing that you don't need legs to have arms!

These vids just show that the engine to deal with "incompetents" does work (Green1) but wow that spaceship rockz!

Creatures with no legs will hover? That's pretty awesome.

@ TehGuest and Magiduck Blue #2 shows the creature with a stump for atleast 5 sec, you dont have to keep the default feet and hands, they are just there as place holders. Trust me, they are a good thing, the quality in user made creatures went up a lot when they made that change.

Those are some evil looking hands...

Teh Guest's comment is worrying me after I saw the video, it seems that you can only get default two toe, two finger creatures and you can't create stumps anymore. I hope this isn't true and you can get more hands/feet and are able to pull the main ones off as it means a lot of people may not be able to make the creatures they want

green #1... is that thing hover/floating???? so you can have telekinetic creatures, or was the engine just spazzing out cos the kid didn't give it any legs?

hum... interesting thing in the blue creature 2: seems you can't give your creature "stumps" anymore. all arms seems to have a default 3 digit paw, and all feet a 2 digit + ankle paw. which is a good thing in my opinion, although it does mean you can't have your creature look like it's just come back from the wars anymore XD seeing will personally helping that disabled guy with the game, that was cool of him. and yeh that spaceship did look pretty cool.
