You can't have multiple UFOs, because you are the UFO. But you can ask your allies to follow you.

Every screenshot/demo they've shown has had just a single UFO. No space fleets. It's a shame. Hopefully it'll happen in an expansion.

this gets me wondering...would it be possible to let us cotrol more then one space ship in the final stage. Because so far no one has ever mentioned about it; that I have hear of at least

Funny how someone could call someone " A cultural bigot" and then us the phrase " something stupid and gay like that" all in the same post. This game being about evolution and all makes me wonder about how some of these tribes will turn out.

I totally missed the "flange-face and his army of winky-creature" comment the first time around. I'm so happy that that's how it's going to work, because I was worried I'd get stuck with that stuff on my planet. I have one. I don't need to see anyone else's.

Anyone else notice that in several of the pictures there is snow on the ground? The same creatures are in a picture looking like the creature stage with green grass but in the tribal pics they seem to be in snow.

I don't think that other creatures go to the tribal phase with you. I think what happens is that the more social you are with other creatures you get benifits from it in the tribal stage. Such as in the picture there were several types of creatures in the "taming pen" so they were probably easy to tame because they were friends from the previous phase. And taming them probably produces a stready stream of food so you don't have to rely on hunting food and its risks. Though I hope there is more to taming other creatures than that.

From what I've read I think I'll enjoy the creature and tribal stages the best, the cell and civ stages the least, and the space stage in the middle...

wow. i like the idea of giant holograms but i dont want to play as a religious group. i want a war type species so that nobody f***s around with me lol. cool idea being able to meet other creatures you've made. i think that'll be one of my goals. find my other creatures. where's waldo? :P

MatchNL, British people spell certain words differently then Americans do. Just because they spell color as colour, doesn't mean it's an incorrect spelling. You're not as smart as you think you are, take it easy.

MatchNL - you are a cultural bigot. Just because Americans spell everything with a "Z" doesn't mean you're right to spell that way. Surely our form of English is more correct than any other form... oh yeah good article, i'll be sure to buy this magazine. Glad to see the "object" of the creature phase is to upgrade your brain again, they changed it to "making 5 friends" or something stupid and gay like that a while ago. Also implies that other creatures will go to tribal phase as well as yours, which i didn't know until now.

In some of the videos and screen shots they show the electrical attack from the tidepool stage. I wondered about it for a long time. It would make sense that it would be in the creature stage too. You can play as the single cell organism (more or less) after you "evolve" onto land. That part might just become the same as the spitter though or something like that.

Did he mention in page i think 7 that there are other tribes still around your planet even when your in civ phase? i thought will said that wouldn't happen.

On page 6 they say you can give them electic attacks on the tadpol stage. . .I wonder if you can do that at the creature stage.

It's an English magazine, it's obviously different to the American or whatever spelling. Also, people DO make mistakes you know.

Civilisation is the English spelling

I'm glad they put so much effort into this article that they couldn't even take time out to spell check it. It's Civilization, not civilisation (which is written in BOLD). They also use the incorrect form of 'to' as 'too' among other minor errors. I can understand issues with spelling and grammar on forums or comment posts since most of the people posting are either foreign to the English language, 12 yrs old, or both, but this is a sign of being unprofessional when it's your JOB to know how to write.

The thing about "subscribing to sporepedia".... does that mean its going to cost money to subscribe? I really hope not.....or if they do, it needs to be really cheep, like $5 a month.

and btw, I will lead my shlong spawn to victory! so watch out o0.
