Youtube confirmation!
It was already revealed in the last month, that users will be able to upload their creature videos to Youtube, and now, the owner of the Youtube brand, Google, announced it, in it's own official blog, giving voice to their love for user-generated content, and hoping that many players will use this feature. They also revealed that: "[The creature Creator] will be released within the commercial game and as a standalone free download for PCs prior to the game’s launch."
That is good news, because it was speculated that the CC will cost money.
There is also a video interview with Will Wright, on Good Game , where he talked about his career, and Spore (no new gameplay footages)

Anyone ever notice that Will Wright is wearing the same shirt in EVERY Interview? And I think the reason the guy seemed fake is because they were given the video of him answering questions and then they clipped in the guy actually asking them. I bet the rooms in the background don't even look similar.

Yeah, those are old pics from the website. Definitely don't freak out over them looking crappy. I think the coolest bit of news is the bizarre background for the creature creator in the first shot from the blog. Could this be evidence of non-earthlike planets being starting points?

There should be a feature (similar to how people can vote down or up on your videos in YouTube) that allows people to vote against your creature designs. This way, people who really SUCK at creature editing wont keep posting their lame videos and clogging up YouTube resources for everyone else. Sort of like a Spore Spam-filter
