There is a tiny article saying that spore will be released 2 days earlier in europe (Friday the 5th of sept.). Any confirmation on that? I mean official confirmation?

yaaaaay finnaly a release date!!! BOOOO is more than a half a year away, its about 7 months from now and ill have started 10 thgrade by then, i was really hoping i could have been playing it during the summer but at least i now have a date to look foward to!

finally, all these years of waiting, all these years at watching the same vids again and again, all these years looking at the screenshots, after all these years since day 1 we can finally play the game. :) Now all we have to do is sit back, relax, and wait for September 7 to arrive. This date is for sure, cuz its a set date unlike "early 2008". Kinda sucks how they release it after the summer and the beginning of my next school year:l I guess I have to skip some days of school xD Now all I have to do is get a new computer to play this game haha

Heh, go buy The Witcher to play over the summer. With it's half-an-hour long load times, it'll probably take you all summer to beat it, thus you'll spend less time worrying about Spore, and more time swearing at The Witcher for not loading faster.

Too bad it is after the vacation. :( I'd rather play it the whole vacation long instead of waiting for it the whole time. And it is way longer then they promised, but still I'm glad it is official.

It's sad when there's a release date announced, and it's met with suspicion from the fans. I'm not saying the suspicion isn't well-founded, it's just sad that Spore has gotten to that point.
