Community Grind 04 | Bug Fixing
So to premise today's Community Grind, I just wanted to let everyone know that I emailed April Jones at EA and told her of the community's (ours and others) are anticipating news at the end of the month.. And asked her if she would like to respond to that in any way. So maybe we'll get lucky and receive a response. On with the show...

"I for one love this new "Jump to" feature. It opens up the game a ton!
Now i know i can just open up the creature editor and make a cool
creature just to show my friends and not have to worry about it
surviving or having to work up enough parts and points to make it.
It kinda gives Spore the feel of 5 seperate games that can also
transition smoothly to make 1 epic game, along with having several
creative tools to publish my imagination.
I feel that doing this will help Spore's replay value a lot without
taking away anything, or adding somthing pointless. plus i think it
will draw in more players because it will give everyone what they are
looking for right out of the box, and more players = more content,
which is good for everyone.
At this point, if Spore is only $50, I'd call it the greatest deal
since The Orange Box! Hell id pay $100 for Spore on its release at this
point, and i wont even tell you how much i would pay to play it now!!"

Arguably one of the most intelligent human beings on this earth - and we were able to snag this interview with him and get his thoughts on Spore. Let's see what he has to say...

Stephen Hawking: Spore poses a catastrophic risk unforseeable to the average individual.
xSpore: How?? It's a game. Guess I'm average..
Stephen Hawking: Attempting to recreate a universe could rip a hole in the one which we live. Not to mention, the potential ramifications of allowing thousands to tamper in what is essentially a parallel universe.
xSpore: I'm hesitant to call you a nut because you're supposed to be smart, but jesus I'm considering it Stephen..
Stephen Hawking: Will Wright must be stopped. This is the inevitable doom of the human race that I have always warned. The time is here, boycott Spore.

We can't really disclose what happened after that due to certain legal issues, but all in all it was an interesting experience.
