1 gigabyte = 1024 MB. Please look these things up before you cause widespread chaos. Else, I will have to clean up after you.

The fact that creatures are packet up into 3 kilobytes each makes up to that in fact ;). It goes as following 1000Kilobytes = 1Megabyte. 1000Megabyte = 1Gigabyte. 1000Gigabyte = 1Terabyte. So as you can see, you will most likely have PLENTY of room for ALOT of creatures ;)!

i think spore will let you have as many creeters as you want but you got to have the space in your computer but nothings shere until it comes out

There's no need to worry, that make a system (From what I know) That will sort those things out. Ofcourse, you can have...Disformed, and, or, sexually looking creature in you're own game. But i'm pretty sure they deny access for you to populate that creature on other people's PC's.

i would be worried about people making innappropriately looking creatures as well. not that a 5 year old would understand that anyways.

I wouldnt worry too much about the rating. I think the worst thing you'll get is some blood from killing the creatures, and MAYBE some improper names for other creatures (courtesy of your fellow man, no?) otherwise it should be fine.

What's the game gonna be rated? I'd like it to be T at the most. I've been waiting for this game for like 2-3 years now checking this website everyday. I'm ready for a demo.

I believe it was stated that the creatures made by us in the creature editor demo version will be added to their servers for once Spore comes out. Also, to negate the "indefinite release date" thing, I think this video has ALMOST FULLY proven that this will be indeed release in 2008.

Well, SPORE fin, I don't think so. I think if you are the first to reach space you get disc-loaded creatures or Maxis already has a database going. The thing is, you can't capture the evolution of a creature without playing the creature phase. Unless of course they set something up where you can... I don't know.

I havent been on xspore for ages forgot my log in but yay i remembered its amazing how fast spore seems to be made when u forget about it now im more addicted to it than ever before too bad i start uni soon and when it comes out i expect my grades to plummit lol but i hope not.

The new footage was an ever too brief couple of seconds. Still, good to hear Will confirm a lot of stuff. I got my spring break planned :)

SPORE fin. How about the demo being in Cell phase while you get the Creature editor? It would fit better... Uploading your creatures on Spore.com...

COOL!!! new news at last!!! BTW I wonder why don't they put cellular phase creatures to internet... HEY!!! ofcourse! they do that cause in the demo u can only create creatures in creature phase, and they probably put those creatures to internet so there will be creatures before the game gets released. and if your the first in space phase there will be space lvl creatures wcich are just like those creature phase creatures other ppl made but more intelligent. hoaahh lots of text again. well I'm off to ET: Quake wars demo. SEE YA PPL!!!
