About SporeCast

New to the largest Spore fansite comes the world's first and largest Spore podcast. Uniting the extremely hip and happening Alehkhs and handsome Kym Huynh from the xSpore community, these two unite and combine their powers to go forth and do battle against those anti-Spore minions whilst wading through the hordes of Spore-related news whilst managing to look incredibly good doing so. Join the hilarious duo each week for you weekly dose of Spore-related commentary delivered with a dish of thought-provoking honesty.

Your Hosts

Alehkhs is that awkward guy in the corner. When not watching Mystery Science Theater 3000 with his friends or eating sushi, Alehkhs can usually be found sleeping (or attending class at college). He writes reviews for Indy-Games at “The Independent Gaming Source” and for whatever else interests him at the blog “Puppy Buckets“. Alehkhs hopes that the Mayans were correct in their prophetic predictions concerning December 21st, 2012, and would love to see horrible doom befall the planet. Besides being a sarcastic cynic of the human race, Alehkhs likes SCUBA diving, hiking and rowing for his college’s Crew Team. His favorite animals are ants and cephalopods, and can often be found on street-corners, proclaiming the imminent arrival of our Squid Overlords. Despite the constant criticism he receives from his friends and family, Alehkhs STILL hasn’t cut his hair…'

Kym believes in things like world peace and the healing power of chocolate. Lately Kym has taken it upon himself to convince the world that chocolate-colored crayons really do taste like chocolate. More recently, Kym has taken up the hobby of purchasing indoor plants and naming them after his friends. He hopes one day that the plants will grow to be big and beautiful; just like his friends.

Latest notice: We are currently auditioning for one more host to complete our awesome triumvirate. If you have an opinion to boot, extremely talkative, can fake laugh like we do on the podcast and able to commit for the long term to a weekly recording schedule at 5 PM PST, send an audition clip to kym@kymhuynh.com. Please note: The recording times are set for the same time each week, and if you become our third host, we require that you purchase your own microphone and headphone too. Serious people only.
