Sporepedia
The Sporepedia is an in-game content management system. The purpose is to organize all of the content (creatures, buildings, plants/flora, planets, stars and solar systems) that the player has encountered. It also allows the players to either accept or block content originating from other spore players.
Will Wright has mentioned that there will be a Spore trading card game based on the sporepedia, for at least PC and mobile. The exact format and incentives for even trading cards is unknown.
We have put up our own Sporepedia site, once the game launches and depending on the specifics of the Sporepedia, we may develop a specific service to feature and trade cards.

yeah this is the last one, they used to just give us a general time frame like summer of 07 or or first quarter of 08, but now that they released a video of the date sept 7 2008 and they have constantly repeated that and they are releasing the creature creator in less that a week (woot woot!!) everyone and I are sure that this will be it sept 7th for US and 5th for EU i think...

@AJ Savs: This has happened to me many times... But often the delayed game is better than it ever had been if it was released 3 years ago.. It's worth the wait... All things points to this year atleast.. Spore Creature Creator being released in 7 days and so on.

jezz i first heard about this game august 3 years ago, and it was supposed to come out that december..................and it got delayed of course, when i finally get it 3 1/2 years later i will cry
