Spore

so back in my 1st game, in the creature phase i hear an odd noise and see an odd shadow on the ground. looking up it's a spaceship, and when i click on it, it says it's a Grox ship.
it was a lil disconcerting, seeing the game's big-bad-guys so early on.

has this happened to anyone else?
(not seeing just a spaceship but a grox one)

That was designed to instill a "fear" of the Grox, to make them look very advanced in comparison to you. Also, yes I've seen the Grox UFO abducting other creatures in the creature phase.
