ok well i can officially wear that badge till someone tells me otherwise

ok well i got it today bought it of gameplay.co.uk and paid £1 for postage and packaging first class and it arrived today

so i install on my pc all is fine i register and viola its good

now install on my sisters pc as she wants it too

and dooooom apparently its not a legitimate copy and securom wont let it work

so either its just f*cked up or you cant have it on 2 computers in your house

You got it from gameplay.co.uk and its not a legit copy? That's weird.

Although it could very possibly just not let you install on more than one computer. That would make sense.

So if I install it on my current PC and then buy a new computer, which I am planning on soon, then I can't put it on the new one?

ok here is the deal, i undersand not very man people read the service aggrement when you install a game. but please try to understand what it is that you aggree to. you do NOT own spore. you just own a license to use spore. this license allows you to have it installed on one computer AT A TIME. that means you can't install it on 5 computers, just becouse you own them all. YOU HAVE TO BUY MORE LICENSE FOR THAT. now, if you uninstall it from you first computer and can't install it on your second computer then you have a reason to be upset.

well to be honest they could have sliped anything in there and not very many people would know. the only reason i know what a standard one states is cus... well... i got really really board one day. LOL anyways i hope your key isn't shot now. maxis might just drop the hammer on you and ban your key. i really hope that dosn't happen to you, but i wouldn't lie to them if you talk to them. logs tell all, and we don't know where or what they are yet.
