it wasnt intentially about spore....It was meant to be my Zu but i slowly moved away from the creation of it onto this..heh. pretty.

Oh that's actually really cute - how did you do the strands can I ask? Its a neat effect - must have taken ages?

Thanks for the welcome.

Gosh you're either lucky or rich or both lol, I'd love to get Maya Unlimited but I simply can't justify $7000 just to play with the extra features! Getting Photoshop and Max just to make Sims stuff was bad enough on top of all the little cheap programs that requires! Fortunately the cost isn't too scary spread out over 5 years but I think my dear husband might notice and complain if I tried to spend that sort of money!

Ahh, it knowseth of the Maya, eh? Yeah, Lucky is the way i lean on the Maya matter.
The cost is pretty slappable, but watcha gonna do?

You mean the personal learning edition? That sucks, you can't import and export in anything other than Maya's propriatory format - if I'm going to spend my very limited time on learning how to model in the damn thing then I absolutely do want to use it for something other than making pretty pictures!
