Spore

I don't have any program on my pc that can make anything close toa wallpaper. Is there a free program that will do that stuff? I dont want to have to pay alot of money for a program like photo shop. I would much tather spend that money on a game or upgrades to my pc rather than buy just a picture editor. I would actually like to draw a picture and use it as part of a spore wallpaper.

This is an open source up-grade to MS paint. It contains many of the features of the larger more expensive photo manipulation tools but has the advantage of being FREE.

I have never used this program, as I have Photoshop, but it does look like it can do all the jobs that you may want from it.

It may have bugs, but it gets updates regularly. Should be what you are looking for.

You also need .net framework 2.0, all windows XP OS's should already have this installed.

Well you can make wallpapers using standard MSpaint(but I don't recomend it)

You might want to try Gimpshop, it's like photoshop but free, I think you can get it here

Sweet I can make walpaers now. It is not just for this gameI have always wanted to make my own walpapers and signatures for forums but could never do it. I never though to just go right out and ask.

I'll see if I can find a banner I made in Gimpshop for a site I never got round to making

I'd like to be able to answer those questions but I honestly don't know, I only used gimpshop for a few weeks while on a web design couse last year.
