Spore

i am having serious problems with spore creature creator! i go and start it up and at the login part i login my correct email and password but it says "login failed could not connect to the spore server your computer might be offline your internet connection might be having problems but i am on the internet posting here!!!!! HELP!!!!!please

*knowingly this is an old post* Sometimes the spore servers have "hiccup" moments (phases where the server just doesn't respond fast enough). It could be the internet going to your computer is just being slow at the time or there is a disturbance somewhere along the line. The server could also be busy with other requests. There may also be a firewall problem, although I myself have not heard of that type of problem amongst the people I know who own the game.

I'm also getting this problem. I just got a new computer (with vista) and decided to reinstall Spore. On trying to login I get the same error. The weird thing is this is also happening on my old computer as well, so it must be a problem with the account, not the computers. I just played Spore a couple of weeks ago with no problems so any help offered would be appreciated.

Also, on looking through Spore/EA support there is a section of login error messages and procedures pertaining to them, and this error is not on the list. Obviously it's not very common.

Note: My old computer is an XP if this makes a difference to anyones reasoning.

UPDATE: I have been able to login to Spore.com with the account but not the game. Another strange thing is that when I put in incorrect login info into the game, it tells me its invalid, but when I type in my real info, it tells me it can't connect. That means that it can connect well enough to read that the false info doesn't exist and mine does, but can't continue the connection for some reason. No idea why yet and any help would be appreciated.

same problem, can't log in to either spore.com or to the game, getting the exact same message and on spore.com im just getting the messege "Login failed" Some help would be nice

Happened to me, then it didn't. All you have to do is wait... Try restarting your computer.

Alright, I logged in yesterday afternoon and it was able to connect... though I can't search the Sporepedia which was a problem I experienced when I first got Spore. Ah well, I can still use all the downloads and sporecasts tied to my account.

Restarting doesn't help, as i've had this problem for a long time now, so waiting doesnt help either. Help please
