Hey, I don't know if I should sell some of the artifacts that I find on planets. I like discovering things but I sometimes discover Lapis Lazuli or stuff like 1 of 10 stones in a collection of such and such stones. Do I need to keep these? Or can I deposit them somewhere? Or can I just sell them to make money and more room in my cargo space?

You can "Safely" deposit them in any colony you own. I've found that the bigger a collection of the same objects, the more money they bring in.

though i was wondering, by the time i finish collecting any of the 'series', i should be already near omnipotent?

how much is a full collection worth anyway? anyone finished collecting a 'series'?

Yeah I don't know. Should I just sell them? I don't want to keep them in cargo :P

Better to sell them, the money's useful at the start of the space stage, as it will help you get planets up faster.

By the time you finely get all ten, money won't be a problem anymore because you'll already have lots of planets and all the upgrades.

I see your point. But do they just give you money or other things too?
And if I sell them, will my other save games be able to find them on other planets? Like if I decide my other space planet should collect 10 rare stones or whatnot, if I 'sold' one of them in my other save game, can it still be found for the other save game? As in, are they fixed on planets or are they all duplicated and scattered across the Universe?

I've dropped all the artifacts I've found onto my homeworld, in my original city, for safekeeping. I think they're all still there for my citizens to gook and gawk at, until I choose to sell them. But I still doubt the combined set will make as much as a load of 99 purple spice being sold at a delicious 70k each.
