I have reason to believe that there will be no flora editor.

Rather deduced it from a list of editors I found in the dump.

All it mentions. I haven't seen anything about the flora editor looking throughout the dump. Anyone found anything to counter this?

The more I read the more convinced I am that I'm right about this.

"In Spore you also have a variety of creation tools at your disposal. With these tools you can create every aspect of your universe: creatures, vehicles, buildings, and even starships."

its been said before by will there is no flora or hut editor, but is most likely to be in expansion packs

Will Wright said himself in a recent interview that there is no flora editor in the game. I'd call that pretty confirmed.

I wonder what else will come withthe expansion packs. . .

Spore Spoilers!

News page from last week. Many spoilers included it appears to have come from hidden files in the CC from what I have heard in other places. There are also some png images of planets located in other forums. This is just the text portion.

I still won't believe anything till I play the game. Since who knows maybe there are saying no flora editor since they are not sure if they will finish it or not or EA games asked it to be an expansion pack who knows but until the game is in my computer running and I can see stuff being in or missing then it will be what it is.

Well, hut editor could be included in building editor couldn't it. Flora has never actually been mentioned to be an editor except in the 18min demonstration where Will puts his mouse over it and it says: "Editor: Flora".

i mean i guess if you want to tell yourself that there is no hut or flora editors then fine but there is no chance of being in Spore until a release date = i wanted to make funky plants too hehe

Dang, no flora editor? That just took away 50% of my excitement. I hope there'll be various amounts of readily-made plants though.

Oh thank you for sharing something I've known for a couple of months.
