Spore

What do you all think about the new Spore video? It certainly shows off the diverse texture editor and the vibrant look of the game!

Its freakin awesome and it answered 3 of the questions i had at the back of my head

-How will color shading work? (Now I say how they did it in segments and patterns)

-Theres more than 20 body parts right? (on the original video when you look at body parts it was a weak selection but the new editor showed my at least 100 if not way way more for creatures that develop underwater or in the air instead of the ground.)

-How big could you make the spaceships? (this one though i can't confirm it is kind of a downer because I was hoping you can make HUGE spaceships but after thinking about it that would make it too much of a target and it would be too hard to move quickly. So I am pretty sure they can only be so big (not much bigger than the ones they show off) )

They should make an external Spore character creation tool that goes slightly more in depth. even people that didn't own the game could make models

Spore is not only going to rock E3 next week, but it will grow into a game that will be many magnitudes larger than all of the Sims combined in terms of ingenuity
