Due to popular demand, the 2010 HASTAC/MacArthur Foundation Digital Media and Learning Competition has been re-opened to NEW applicants for one more week!
This year's Competition has a game-specific category (Game Changers: http://www.dmlcompetition.net/game_changers.php). Applicants can win $5,000-$50,000 for creating educational adventures in Spore. The application system is open now. http://www.dmlcompetition.net/application.php • To be considered, all new applications must be submitted by noon EST on February 15th. • We cannot guarantee that new applications will be given the opportunity to benefit from public comment and feedback on their applications. Newly submitted applications will not be available in the public commenting system until after February 15th. • For full information about this year's Competition, please see http://www.dmlcompetition.net The first-round application just asks for 300-word description of your idea, so it's very easy to apply. Please reply to this post if you have questions and I'll do my best to answer. Good luck! = Ruby ![]() |

You might not have noticed this, but, we all here hate Spore with a passion. We used to love it, yes, oh boy did we love it. That love lasted untill after the installation bar hit 100%. It's complete, utter, shit. Spore went from being the greatest revolutionary game to the greatest shithole of a game.
