Spore

A meteor enters Elimia's atmosphere and breaks up, with different parts crashing into the oceans. Microbes emerge from the meteor remains, but it turns out they were dormant, recently fertilised egg cells of a species from another planet, and they grow nearly to 2/3 the size of Parrot Gulpers as adults. They are also very adaptable. (You can choose their diet, name and appearance.)

I got the idea from the opening of Spore.

are you allowed do that anyway eh the ribbon lumos is a parasite that eats away the reproduction organ of the enemy and they cannot mate

Also the Neon Geist could get an evolution which gives it a longer body to trap predators with like a boa constrictor, and maybe some small spikes on the bottom to absorb nutrients from its predators.

Parasitic Noxis

This could change its course from harming creatures to benefitting them in exchange for its continued existence within them, by appealing to all and enhancing their metabolisms to enable them to break down and use the much tougher compounds such as its own venomn.

Ribbon Lumos

By developing a cartilage backone with a memory shape effect by coiling itself up it can give itself momentary bursts of instant speed and with a spike on its head focused on penetrating rather than damaging in shape when needed it could make its own way out if needed XP

Parrot Gulper

By developing a more effective digestive system (like ours) it could remove the need to kill its prey and let it die itself as it perishes in stomach acids and so enable itself to just need to swallow Ribbon Lumos if it needs to eat them, elongating its skeleton to create a more powerful tail and developing more advanced fins to enable it to keep up with groups would be helpful to this cause

Hmm, here are my two cents...

- Necro Flute -
The spines located on the back of the Necro Flute begin to eventually lace themselves with a Neurotoxin, giving extra punch to biting the Necro Flute. A positive side-effect of this is that those would-be predators now can be eaten by the Necro Flute after trying to bite it.

- Bubble Flora -
To further attract Fry, the Sporoid Pod's large bubble part fills with a bioluminescent fluid that pulsates at a certain frequency, not only would this attract the Fry, but also cause predators to be even more likely to attack that part instead of the Flora itself.

- Sol Snatcher -
To virtually rid itself of the need for eyes, various electricity sensitive cysts form throught the Sol Snatchers body (specifically, in a parallel line running down the Sol Snatchers back.) These Cysts can sense the electricity given off by other living things, allowing it a full 360 degrees of sensory perception.

Ribbon Lumos:

have the muscle move to its underside and have it migrate to very shallow water(like in the surf) it will have very few predators and much greater access to light sources.

Have it grow two fin like protuberances (lumps bumps) that it can use to turn quickly also have it grow a mouth with very thin teeth that go all around the inside edge.
have it grow smarter and have a reflective underbelly to confuse predators below it

Bubble Flora:have the bubble grow another sporoid pod that goes above the water have the sporoids above water be feathery so the wind blows them farther away from the bubble.


Micro Flora:
have them begin forming large groups attached to rocks near the shore,when its time for them to breed they break from the rock and float to the surface releasing the sporeoids/whatever it does into the air.

have them dig into the rocks and grow longer basically becoming seaweed.

Parasitic Comb:

make the muck cup bigger and a smaller second mouth to the roof of the original and add a lure so it can draw small creatures in.

Ribbon Lumos:

The Ribbon Lumos could develop a wider and/or longer muscle so that it could flee from predators even faster, the wider muscle(fan shaped) could mean a larger area for the Ribbon Lumos to gather light from and thus eliminating the light problem. It could also develop multiple spikes on it's head as a defense against certain other critters, it could use the spikes and muscle combo to ram foes.

As no one noticed the Parasitic Comb...

Parasitic Comb

Put the "digestive" system (separating and absorbing nutrients) inside the actual creature and connected by a tube to the mouth. Use some extra "bag" organs to suck the mud into the mouth easily (vacuum cleaner by other words). Create a "reproductive system", by other words the organ that creates the Comb Maggot will create also (and in bigger quantities) larvae and have a hollow tentacle with a small spike on it's end connected to that organ (I'll explain latter)*.

Comb Maggot

Fuse the tendrils into a bigger one on the back of the Maggot, and increase the size of the hairs (by other words, create a hairy tail, allowing it to go faster). Create a valve to let the developed larvae exit the specie without destroying it and to permit the Parasitic Comb to inject the recently created larvae on the Comb Maggot thought the tentacle (by other words, the Parasitic Comb creates the "eggs" and the Combs incubate it). Make it normally go around the main Parasitic Comb for protection.

*This means the Parasitic Comb must become not parasitic and use the Combs as incubation farms (and it's body to produce the eggs)

When I created this post, I thought about "Mother" Comb going around eating mud with a lot of tadpole-like Comb Maggots going around it, using the mud not eaten by the Mother Comb. A nice coexistence relation.

I do Like Canuhearmenow's idea on adding nuerotoxins into the spikes, paralyzing or just killing its prey. One other idea to make the creature more adept is to have its tail increase in size and length to allow it to dive deeper to hunt prey that may be lurking at lower depths

Bubble Flora
Helio Flora
An extension down the sporoid pod of a few meters to reach the floor of shallow seabeds (much like kelp). They could grow tendrils off of the large stem like structure which also help to absorb sunlight. A unique idea that Mexus said that i liked is the use of floatation in the air. They could float through the air by use of hydrogen filled sacks instead of CO2/O2. This way they could float into the air and deposit their seeds across the ocean to add to the number of creatures.

Sol Snatcher

Allow it grow horizontally and scans the floor of shallow areas for either small plants/animals. being sideways, it can also gather much more sunlight. Maybe also make the tentacles much stronger. Maybe they will be able to pull up on land and gather much more sunlight directly than having some water be refratced by the water

[Bubble Flora ALTERNATE EVOLUTION
Nocto Flora
Instead of floating, they begin todeflate their airsacks, sinking to the bottom of the ocean. Instead, of harvesting sunlight, they begin to grow based on minerals around sulfuric vents. Instead of being photosynthetic, they become chemosynthetic. They fill a niche in the ocean yet to be filled. They can fill up their gas pods with the minerals deposited form the vents to feed on to produce energy. Since there is yet to be a predator, they are relitavly safe.

Parastic Shellis
As it filters out nutrients, it could harvest silicon to form a shell around its body. This may well reduce its speed. Maybe even become more of a mollusk liek creature. It could still propel itself like the vacuum mode of locomotion. The offspring however (the maggots) are more susceptable. They could float around on the ocean floor looking for safe areas in which to gorw in. Once they are able to detatch themselves from the Spore-like pod, they immediately begin harvesting minerals so that they can be safe from more dangerous predators.

could have a sack that has a litlle light in it and when fry go in the sack closes and squezzes the prey to death and slurps the musse in
here are names for places, the waste land, driftoff cliff, feild off the things ill come up with more later

Bubble Flora
Grow multiple "lures" with bi-luimenecent lights on them to attract fry. When the fry comes within range the "lure" opens and sucks in the fry. The fry is then digested in the bio-luimenescent acids to help feed the Bubble flora. (Dont you just love carnivorous flora )

Parasitic Comb
Developes a larger jaw (taking up about 20% of total body length.) It also looses its fins and becomes eel like. Its eyes shrink and it gains strong hearing.

Parasitic Comb (larva)
Grows a hook to latch onto any passing by creatures. The hook then burries into the creature and slowly siphons blood from the creature thus increesing the rate of development for the larva.
