Actually, I'm not, this was a small demo test that wen't a lot better then expected.

I am currently investing time on animated and more detailed creatures, on better "circumstances".

Spiny Flora



Ancestor of: None
Descendant of: Micro Flora
Diet: Light to produce own nutrients
Reproduction: Asexual
The new version of the flora have an exoskeleton so that they know only take in energy threw the leaves, but thanks to the spikes make up for it by becoming a predator's nightmare. They no longer attach themselves to rocks and other things, they swim along normally.

Parasitic Noxis



Ancestor of: None
Descendant of: Micro Noxis
Diet: Light to Produce own nutrients and poison.
Reproduction: Asexual, injected into a host where they grow up.
The new Noxis is not only kills predators when they eat it, but now use them, and anything else in the pond to raise its children. It injects them into it with a specialized spike, and the host is often dies when the kids grow up, due to the poison and the loss of nutrients. This has allowed them to spread through-out the pond, and the Spiny Flora are the only ones safe.

Reproduction: Sexual
Another main predator has been introduced into the pond! In intense competion with the Necro Carny, this gulps down or rips than swallows up other creatures in the pond. Its highly efficent stomach is giving it an edge, allowing it to get alot more from the food it eats, and even able to digest its ancestor and the Necro Carny.


Micro Lumo and Necro Spectrum going extinct next turn if something does not happen to save them!

Spiny Flora

With a bit of development the spiny flora can learn to inject its victims with a toxin to paralyse anything that doesnt get too close and so get time to inject with another toxin that will cause the victim to digest itself from the inside out and with another spine adapted for sucking up stuff it has a ready digested food to eat to supplement its photosynthesis

Parasitic Noxis

To expand into getting the spiny flora to help their breeding the Parasitic Noxis could develop a longer spike on their head that points in the direction they swim and develop more complicated and powerful muscles around the tail to enable it to get speed and possibly penetrate into the spiny flora, this would require a spine and basic endo or exo skeleton to be formed so it doesnt ram the spike into itself by accident

Necro Gulper

To counter the Parasitic Noxis problem the gupler could develop a more complicated sensory system such as a sense of smell to beging with and begin hunting in groups by nature so that it has a group to help look out for parasitic noxis so they can avoid them when they come and not worry about surprises so much

Micro Flora

The Mirco flora could start fixing itself to the underside of water by creating a small spike it can stick through the water to use water tension to hand itself from the surface, it would also increase its leaf size and keep some oxygen bubbles in them in small nodules to make the leaves float up to the surface so it still photosyntesises effectively. This would also means it starts spraying its spores into the air after nuturing them so when it grows it will have an opportunity to fix itself to the surface

Micro Lumo

Develop a tubular spike to be able to stab victims and suck their interior. Develop better fins to be able to gain a considerable speed to be easier to stab victims. Develop a chemical sensor at it's fin that can help to detect near predators. Develop a transparent exoskeleton to protect himself of other Carno Lumo (a name I got to the Micro Lumo evolution) and the Parasitic Noxis.

Alright, I said all 4 modifications, so I only suggest a new specie. Carno Lumo or Parasite Lumo.
(A limit I set to myself, to prevent excessive changes)

You can also offer names for some areas,such as that northeastern fjord, the island, it's straight(or whatever that is...) that southern chunk of land...etc.... that river in eastern twilight has a waterfall at the end

first branch could develop a full body shell of interlocking rings as defense against parasitic noxis, they can perform photosynthesis with their tails, so, a larger possibly lobed tail is good, the spectrum could have a row of pressure sensitive beads or bumps along their sides so as to sense the water moved by noxis swimming near their bodies, they can become elongated so as to be more streamlined and move faster.

second branch could become immune to the parasitic noxis poison, they allow the noxis to use their bodies for breeding and move down into central pond where they then would spread their noxis to the geists, thus killing the geist competition, to save on energy they could develop float bladders filled with oil to stay in place instead of swimming back in place after sinking, they could extend some bones outward to give them photosynthetic 'fins' (although these fins would be rather immobile...)

first branch could live down in the muck and filter food out of it, their eyes could aim upwards so as to see predators better, they could develop whiskers to feel around and better know their surroundings, the necros tail could curl and become a sort of jet with two intake holes on top and a propulsion hole on the end for quick escapes.

second branch could be another bottom feeder idea (suggested in g1) where the necro could aim it's gills down and forward, pump water out of them to uncover bits of food or blow them into the water, the gills could have muscular walls and possibly grinding 'teeth' for 'chewing' or what-have-you....

have the parasitic noxis spike move father to the tail and have it use a whip-like or spiring type action that will cause the spike to hi the prey at high speed.

have the spiny flora grow sticky poisoned strands that cause harm to the creatures that come in contact with them(think jelly fish)


have the necro gulper grow netlike protrusions from its jaw so that i can shepherd more prey into its mouth,also have it secret some web-like material from two designated holes in its skin that encases all but its head(gills there?) and the net's

Micro Lumo.

Could form different kinds of bio luminescent lights in order to scare/confuse predators.
Could also form a bigger and wider flat, fan shaped head to focus the bio luminescent lights more to the front. Develop better socialization within the species so that they can team up against the predators with their bio luminescent lights for greater effect.

Neon Spectrum.

Spiny Gulper:

Replace it's normal Solid based spinal column with one filled with a highly conductive liquid, allowing it's spine to snap or even be bitten with no loss of function. An unintended side-effect of this liquid is the development of various Vesicles (Fluid-Filled Sacs) running down the spine of the Gulper filled with this conductive Fluid. Due to the nature of this fluid (A combination of various enzymes, Alkalines, and other salts) it enables the Gulper to sense the electrical charges given off by living things nearby it.

Micro Lumos

It has been noted that in order for the lumos to survive they need intervention. I propose a new, stronger breed of lumos that emerged in order to compete with other species carry on the lumos namesake. I give you, the

Arthro Lumos:
This new breed of lumos has a tougher exterior with many small plates on the bottom and tail to defend it's delicious glowy insides. It has a large, incredibly hard plate growing from the front, that ends in a flat, semicircle shape, kind of like a horseshoe crab. In order to propel itself, the new lumos has developed an incredible amount of muscle, mostly in the tail. It also has a new vorpal fin (one on the belly) that helps steer it.

I hope this isn't too much of a cluster fuck to understand.

The first ever lumo predator. It stabs into other creatures, than injects acids and enzymes that digest them from the inside. It than sucks up the delicious goo and uses it for nutriention, but also still feeds off light. It cannot feed on the creatures with exoskeletons, and mostly only children are its size so that is the source of most of its food. It has an exoskeleton.

The newest predator. It has evolved a way past all these exoskeletons by being able to crush them with its strong beak. It can also react faster with its spine and can survive worse damage now that it doesnt have to worry about that.

The newer, tougher breed of lumos. With their new muscle they can quickly evade predators, and can manuver better than their ancestors. Their tough plates stop it from being preyed upon, it being too tough even for a parrot gulper. It is having some problems gathering light however. It can see above and in front of it.


The micro lumo has gone extinct. The necro spectrum is about to be extinct, and micro noxis are in danger of extinction.

Ribbon Lumos:

The Ribbon Lumos could develop a wider and/or longer muscle so that it could flee from predators even faster, the wider muscle(fan shaped) could mean a larger area for the Ribbon Lumos to gather light from and thus eliminating the light problem. It could also develop multiple spikes on it's head as a defense against certain other critters, it could the the spikes and muscle combo to ram foes.

Ill Donate My Two cents for the Parrot Gulper

To greatly increase the effectiveness of the Parrot Gulper, it could develop a jaw that is able to "un-hinge" itself. Thus with this ability, it can prey on larger swarms of creatures and able to take a great intake of organisms in. It can also improve the spines ability for the creature to move faster. By being able to absorb liquid into the spine, it can use this ability as more of a jet-like propulsion allowing it to gulp up larger amounts of prey in a single swipe. It can use the same system that it had absorbed fluids to strengthen the spine and take it a step further.

Necro Spectrum (Just because they are almost gone doesnt mean they cant evolve)

How about they develop a spiny fin-like structure along their bodies, making them much mroe dangerous to be eaten as they can cause bleeding in the bodies of larger predators. This might give them a little edge to not become extinct. They could also narrow their mouths to hunt after single, but larger prey (much like a pike rather than a largemouth bass)

Micro Flora (again with the older stuff)

Maybe they could develop a gas like chamber that fills with air to keep the Flora at the surface. This way they are able to harvest sunlight much faster because they are nearyly directly at the surface. Also, they could try to become more transparent except for the photosynthetic cells. This way the blend in much better at the surface.
