What am I going to do until Spore comes? I guess I'll be invading the Milky Way, don't be surprised that I'm an alien in the "Equipped Extermination Forces" of Alpha Quadrant 5. And our headmaster has sent us to invade you.

I am just a spy though, and since Spore is a very good weapon, it will be used on you.

now, im not a hardcore gamer, so this is the first time im getting something right when it comes out. what im wondering is, since it comes out on the 7th (say i order it online from somewhere like amazon) will they ship it to me on the 7th or will they ship it so it arrives on the 7th? also if i buy it in person and i reserve a copy, do i get it on the 7th or when the shipment comes in?

Yeah I am really looking forward to spore, I am pleased we have an official date and have high hopes of it making this date but until spore is released Im reading up about 3d game programming with directx and Im trying to put spore out of my mind. Ive even resorted to playing some text Mud RPGS but havent found one Im ready to settle on yet, if anyone knows any PM me so as not to wreck this topic but anyway thats what I am doing and putting spore out my mind isnt working to well now lol

I think that if they stalled it to improve the game then great, but I think the wait has probably lost EA some customers who just forgot about it for a while

Yah. There is NO way a game could be stalled for 2 years just because they wanted to improve. The graphics look better because the old graphics would be obsolete (well technically). They were probably still fixing bugs or something went horribly wrong.
