Why do you think there taking there sweet time. And even if someone steals a beta copy and writes a bad review when the game actually does come out and is perfect that 1 bad review that some punk probably wrote isn't even going to be a thought in your head anymore.

And people have been allowed to play with the creature editor and have your heard a single bad thing about it? nope. Thats also the reason why they took out the water stage. to many potential bugs and not enough time to change the game to allow players to stay in the water bug free without delaying a fuck load.

In a way Maxis is a slave to its own hype. There is no way they can release the game now without it being the most life changing gaming experience ever. So in a way we all have a part in the delay in the game just because of the pressure we in turn put on the developers.

And 2 ½ years should be enough to get it finished. So Thats why spore will be released May-July 08.

She did say Around the time frame. She did not say in the time frame. Around means approximately. It could also means the first 7 days of Feb if she said around the time-frame. Because it is near enough to be classified around Mid-End Jan time-frame.

Or maybe im not seeing her saying in the letter, in the time-frame she would be releasing a release date. Because some of the people here seems to see that. For all i know i might be blind to it. But i reread it MANY times and it does not say that AT ALL. Or so I see.
All it says is AROUND the time-frame And nNOT IN the Time-frame.
Or i might be interperting it wrong.
But either way, Time is getting short.
But am i right in saying that sh DID say AROUND and not IN the time-Frame?

Still though she did say "MID - to - LATE" January which mean it should be in between and if not later.

That is what I got out of that staement but they have said things before and not delivered so it is real possible that again they won't deliver on something.

By the way if they do mention somehow I think it will be dissapointing to hear what the actual release date is. They could end up saying late 2008 to early 2009. After all I still think if they anounce the date it will still not be an exact date.

that is true but people who have lost faith in spore will jest forget about it because they expect it to be a lie and i found out about it a couple months ago and the day i found it i lost interest in halo 3 jest like this

I think that they'll announce it either on January 31st or Groundhog Day, but probably the latter. I mean, groudhog day makes sense for a Spore announcement, right? Either they announce that it'll come soon or be delayed another 6 months...meaning around July-August?

We can change Ground hog day to Will Wright day!!!!....if will sees his shadow when he walks out of the maxis development building gets scared and runs back in the game is delayed 6 months. If he doesn't see his shadow and walks on out of the building and into the world then the demo will come out in 6 weeks followed by the game like a month later. So it be said, so let it be true!
