... That is what Amazon sent me in the mail. Now I know that most will say "Eeeooww, another email msg about a release date from a company that will sell me vaporware" and you are RIGHT... If you have gotten ANY release date from emails like this take them cum granis salis (with a grain of slat for those not speaking Latin) they are 90% of the time projected release dates...

I wouldn't count out this date just yet. If you click on the More Info button, it tells you that Amazon gets its release dates directly from the manufacturers. So before you all say, "lolz, they jst need a dat to have......lol i only believe when will or ea sez lol." This might be from EA. I'm not counting on anything yet, but be optimistic.

I think "directly from the manufacturers" means "we read the latest interview and they said Spring 2008, so it is March 31."

"This is not the official release date"

This is the worst part of following developing games... everyone taking some site's release date over the official publisher's. Bottom line: they know as much as we do.

UPDATE: Our EA sources tell us that this is merely retailer speculation and not an official release date... they add that we shouldn't expect the game before EA's '09 fiscal year.

Has anyone actually sat and thought about what this forum is going to be like when the games out? I reckon its gonna be like pure shellshock for the many thats been waiting for a long time as

despite this release date they did say fiscal 09, fiscals change on the 1st of April and right now we are in fiscal 08, so March 31st next year is the latest they think it'll be out. personally I think that it is a very descent educated guess.
(and plz nobody ask me about how fiscals work, I don't know how they work)
