Who confirmed this date? I belive this date, but I want to know WHO confirmed it.

that would be perfect, and you have to understand speculation. 1)it's not in the estimated release area 2) you had no proof to offer at the moment other than your word 3) you had 2 posts at the time. 4) it came from a game store and we've had hundreds of threads about the release date that came from a game store.

I'm still a skeptic as of now but I really hope you prove me wrong

my game spot said earky spring or around march,so r0bin could be right ,however this date could be easily chaged at any moment

if robins date is wrong i bet hes gonna be mobbed by the threaders

a lot of game retailers have the date as march but that dosen't mean it can't be delayed more lol theres lots of chance for it still to be delayed

At this early in the game, I bet no one can really have an exact idea of the release date, not even the devs.

we are ALL SO PARANOID if a hobo told me spore was out Id steal a car and head to the store at 300mph!

I have a gut feeling after I saw this thread that it says March, becuase I've heard to everywhere I'm positive WW said Second Half becuase ifit was pushed back after he said March then he would get heat, if thats truethats smart thinking, I mean Will Wright said second half what two months ago? While a lead developer said 2q in PC Gamer about a month ago, major gaming magazine (such as ign) always get a leg-up on release dates and they say 2Q, almost everywhere I see 2Q. If this is true I'm damned happy. I have butterflies in my stomach. I can 't wait and i hope this is true!

Thats what i said, he might of said second half just to be sure, you see he didnt say when in second half he just threw it in there. Oooh i cant wait until i have spore in my hands

well the financial year for ea ends at the end of the first half, so they are probably going to release it then for financial reasons.

He sounds pretty confident about his supposed "release date." Let's just hope that somehow it's true.

But if it's not true....

Thinking of it now, if they game is going to be released in March wouldnt they of said it already since its only 74 days away? wouldnt there be advertisements ect ect?

well sometimes their still in the P.R department with advertisments and plans for commercials,it takes some time to decide which ads are going where and whos ordering what,several monts are usally between completion of the game amd actually shipping to retailers,not to mention if they find a glitch or bug that would seroiusly affect gameplay

Ive just sent a question to EA games asking if it was possible for Spore to come out in March, lets see what they say.

game realeses are almost ALWAYS pushed back, i remember waiting for Okami and i went there when it said it would be out, and the release date was pushed back...the same will happen for spore, i predict June 5th as the release date

Funny how the person that started this thred is totally silent now, hours after they said they would throw up some proof of this release date. Just like all the rest... talking outta his/hers/its ASS!!!
