By using what?

Your imagination... we will probly put together all the best things and than ask one of the good artist to draw it into existance. Or on paper. But right now its mostly just ideas, we want it to be as little like anything on earth as possible, using things that are completely new and radical to survive, it will probly be tough since we think in earth terms but itll be fun to see what we all come up with.

okay, how about sumtin that ...

sees - using type A radiation

produces spire nests filled with a gas that holds together real fine like, like, syrupy gas..which it float/swims around in.

it feeds by luring prey into it's spire nest through a cone shaped opening,so the prey can't escape, the prey is then sprayed with poisons and acids to kill and soften it up.. the carcass then floats to to top of the spire nest, where it stays and breaks down into microparticles that my critter absorbs in a fungusy/spongy fashion directly into it's blood

innards- completely open 'vascular' system, to the point of exposure to outside elements...surface tension is very high, so that it doesn't bleed to death..free floating organs covered in flagella produce currents in blood (a flow so as there are no areas cut off from nutrients) and other free floating organs are used to puree absorbed materials and to remove toxins from the blood(these organs are released from the body when become toxic themselves) ... areas not directly in contact to blood glob use a capillary act(similiar to plants) and 'suck up' the blood needed..used blood is then discharged into the nests dense atmosphere...to be eventually reabsorbed..

thats pretty good colddigger, and people feel free to post ideas, they dont have to be like the ones im gonna post, espically since alot of you are probly more creative than me. Ok..its list time.

Ideas: It could have a water wheel type thing to get energy, a lightning rod, it could move like a hot air balloon, it could also have an appendage like a drill for digging underground, be able to take fuels and burn them inside its body and use the heat for energy, and even use certain materials like uranium for power.

One quick big idea: a symbiotic organism, where there are many cells working seperatly yet together at the same time so it is alot like a multi-cellular organism without being one. It could be kinda like gelletin, and actually have cells functioning as a brain and such. It would reproduce asexually, by splitting itself in half when it grows large enough, and it would be capable of fusing with others to make bigger versions of itself, or seperate into many small ones.

(yeah i know theres better but i have to go, might add more later. Best i could think of at the time, i know its not that creative but this is fairly tough, dont worry if you dont think your idea is that good just lt us see it. And i know there are those of you who can come up with stuff i would never think of so feel free to post your ideas, since it will most likely be a good one and we really need them.)

Body:
a shell made of Organic and inorganic materials harder the the hardest substance we currently know.

Movement:uses semi-organic pseudopoidal appendages in a conveyor belt like movement to move around these are located on what could be the underside of the creature and on a piece of the body that rotates.

Food/energy:

uses a vesicle like transport mechanism to move other organisms into the body where they are liquefied by heat and radiation they are then transported around the body to the different organic parts.

the creature absorbs radioactive or high energy substances that circle at high speed around a central core where the energy and radiation are transported through the body to the inorganic parts.

Reproduction:
Two or more get together and make a shell after an indeterminate amount of time something which could be called an egg/baby is implanted within the shell where it grows for five years where it then splits itself and the shell into four pieces and they go off and start building another shell for themselves after another indeterminate amount of time they will stop making there shell and repeat the process from the start of this incredibly long sentence.

Well you pretty much want nothing then good work, admitedly the above creation looks good but ti has visiable feet and hands, thats an earth like quality!

Well heres what i picture

a microwave on tank wheels with a conveyor type eating thingy with energy everywhere, a small unuranium core and a weird shell/shield thing

yes like a plant its to get the least earth-like similarities in it dosn't mean there can't be any.

could be like a nuclear power plant but i don't think its spins the stuff around at high speeds but instead boils water to make steam that turns turbines.

also i didn't say it had hands or feet i said it had pseudopoidal legs(its either legs or some sorta advanced natural anti-gravity) i also forgot to add telekinesis into the description (i keep doing that)

and sscrall those are great if they are a depction of what i said magnificent and even if it isn't still really good.

Another idea: a creature that lives off kenetic energy, it would have to be large but if something touched it it could suck them in and as they struggle it take that energy and keeps it to live. Just trying to come up with stuff here, once we have enough good ideas i might start trying to combine the best ones, but this is some nice stuff so far! Keep on submitting!

im just gonna make one up real quick and throw it out, here goes:

a silicate based lifeform, which acts like a giant baloon, utilizing a decomposition of some form of food it floats, im just gonna use the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide as an example, the creature would use a biological catalyst to accelerate the natural decomposition to form stuff (ie, 2h2O2 --> H2O + O2). OR it would produce some form or lighter than atmosphere gas via a internal reaction or a symboitic relationship with another creature/bacteria.

The creature would float around either being a giant ball, or shaped like a hot-air balloon, by changing the densit, or by combusting the gas it would float and move. It could use the gas as a flame thrower as a means of self defence.

senses... hrm.. lets go with a biological laser that it would sweep over the surrounding area and would thus be able todetermine the shape of the landscape and any obstacles on it. It would also be able to feel pressures surrounding it, you know air currents and etc.

the animal would be able to engergize the particles in its body byusing the sun's energy at very high altitudes to make it's body radioactive acting as a deterant to predators.

thats all i got right now, and you guys, feel free to add suggestions and the like.
