I voted Ps3 , although PS3 and PC are pretty much even im voting on consoles, PC is used for so many other things than just gaming where consoles are pretty much just for gaming.

Im not going to elaborate, Don't want to start a console flame war.

More demand for it. Parents, children etc. Is kindof a "hot toy" alongside what kirby, tickle me elmo, etc were years ago.

Also, while it used to be cheap, the Wii is now at least 118 dollars more expensive; sometimes about the same, but sometimes more so than the 360 or PS3.

PS3 40 GB is 400 dollars, and the core 360 is 300 dollars.

Wii is fun and interactive, but I've been studying up on the games on PS3, and the new online Home game. Free download, online avatar fun, digital home online... REALLY FUN... and it's coming out soon. Besides, the PS3 actually has a lot of cool Hi-def games that are like the games in Wii, but they're better.

My PS3 is not only cool, but it's as fun as the Wii. It's my opinion of course.

i voted wii, because if they could merge similar wii controls with consoles like the PS3 and/or 360.. then folks here is your ultimate console XD

I'd say wii, i've been a nintendo fan since I was a kid (first console being nintendo64) and I think they make the best games. Nintendo is much more innotative than the other companies and is able to make games for all ages...The wii has to be the best fun I've had on a console for ages. While the other two just have better graphics and slightly bigger games on the wii you get a entirely new gaming experience...

But the problem for nintendo is what are they going to do after the wii: it was so innotative that if they made a wii 2 it would destory the purpose and I can't think of how they can top it.

Plus, Sony just comes of as really dull to me, they get the same games as the XBox and to me there isn't much difference between them besides the name...

But I don't really play that many video games anymore except wii sports and the sims 2 sometimes...

To be fair, console games are closer to computer games than to video games........you see video games use (surprisingly) the same data storage device as videos, (magnetic tape) while the only difference between a console game and a PC game is the OS..............

And btw the PC is the best gaming system, nothing can top it, game play, graphics, online, or versatility wise,

Why do people feel the need to argue about this if people are trying to be constructive then I don't mind as much though. Firstly the Wii was targeted at a wider market than the rest of the consoles that's why it did better than the rest. Not only has Nintendo kept its old fan base but it also managed to get people who wouldn't usually get a games console like pensioners. I will say at the moment I have more fun playing locally on consoles than online but I also get certain PC games when they seem unique and fresh hence Spore. I haven't really played on the PS3 so I can't really judge fairly but most of the games are on the 360 anyway. In my opinion all of the consoles have problems for example I think its quite bad that people still have to host games themselves rather than have it run completely on a server. Especially when your paying for it. I think developers should spend more time on local multiplayer as well though these days it's all about the online multiplayer.

What I don't understand is if you like something why bother others that like something very similar? You might as well be arguing about your favourite fast food restaurants. There is a difference between having a debate about something rather than just yelling at people and telling them that their just wrong and stupid.

i think pc is better for rts games and such like AOE1,2,3
i prefer consoles for fps and other types.
but i still like all consoles presented yet i voted for xbox 360.

ps3 home? honestly, you will get no better support. no, you get a messed up looking virtual version of you walking around on a tiny plaza. hrm, you know what? the wii has that2 its called mii plaza. Also, get a fking life, i bought my xbox kuz i wanna game AND have superior interaction w/ my friends. Ps3 home wont provide that.

Also, Xbox live is far superior to anything PS3 has ATM, being able to chat with friends cross game, get achievements, download content and link to any windows media center pcs is awsome (also, i luvs me some rumbly controllers)

The ps3 may have more crapped jammed into it's ugly fat-ass frame, but within the xbox 360's beutiful hourglass form lies a much better done system. the ps3's statistics are grossley overstated, while they claim to have supperior processing power (and yes, the ps3 has more raw power) most of it is wasted. Over 15-20% of the ps3's power is devoted to just the dashboard while the xbox uses almost no processing power whatsoever (prolly due to MS's experience with OSes), also, the 360's ability to change what gets what ammount of processing power is a great asset, in a 1 for 1 competition doing just one thing that utilized XDR memory the xbox has the ability to use twice as much memory than the ps3 does. Also, the xbox was made so that it would be the best thing to program games on, while the PS3 is the game developer's nightmare (the one thing sony had going for it was the ps1's 3rd party support, which set them up with contracts as opposed to Xbox, which is just plain better IMO)

the xbox has an eye as well, so dont say the ps3 eyetoy

IMHO the only real advantage to the PS3 it the ability to link to a PSP and stream videos to it from anywhere in the world. (and i dont have a PSP so it dont really take that into consideration).

I do however predict that Sony will get some exclusive games that are custom built for it that will be pretty reasonable, but by then I expect ill be saving up for a gen 5 console, which (i expect) MS has a huge leap on.



I actually would have voted wii, but i think the ps3 needs to be shown it's place.

If pcs had more games developed for them (imagine fighting games, racing games and platformers... not just rts, fps and mmorpgs). pcs would own the consoles.

However piracy has killed pc gaming.
