To become a VIP, all VIPs must agree your worthy of it by being a GOOD member and making useful posts. You'll need at least 500 posts. If you did 500 posts of spam, you won't be getting in either. Take your time over it.

And if your being flamed, there is a 95% chance you started it. Apologise. If they continue, get someone of hiher authority to sort em.

how do i delete a creature in the xspore sporpedia ?

I don't really use the xSporepedia. This was mainly meant to be a guideline for the forum, rather than the site or Spore.

Try clicking on "Control Panel" int he navbar, then "My Creatures" and see if you can delete it from there (I ain't uplaoded any to the xSporepedia so I dunno.)

And what about the xArcade? maybe tell its story and such and tell that it isn't used anymore and Kongregatehack is the new owner of the xArcade xD.

It would be cool for a deeper explanation about the Drama section too because I know that you may not post "completly pointless" threads, only 99.99% pointless xD.

If anyone has any questions about this site, you could PM me or just look around this site, I will tell you about some little history that may or may not be useful.

First off, one of the biggest things is Roboraptor, he was an old mod that got into a fight with Dream (xDreamchache's nickname for people who are too lazy to spell everything out ) It was about the racial comments that Static (xStaticWolf's nickname for the same reason ) made, and it was a whole argument. At the end Roboraptor left the site and was never seen again. You may see some stuff about him, but he is ancient history by now.

Second was the community grinds, you may see some sticky's about them. They are useless now becuase the grinds were discontinued. The grinds were pretty much things about the community and some interesting fake interviews with celebs. A lot of people became bitchy about them (including me at the beginning but I got used to them and began to like them) but then they were discontinued. So you can post away on those threads hoping that some day they will be revived, or just ignore them.

Third is the countless delays of Spore, it was supposed to be released in '06, well now it's '08 and the release date is finally out.

Finally is the Drama section that you don't know about. It is a secret, never to be revived from stasis again.

And that is pretty much it, hope you found my short history informative and use it to become a better member.

hello from the other side, the first thread was a very good posts for newbies, i wish you guys (mods) would give more credit (i just mean more info, i dont mean anything else) to the contest area (xsporepedia and such) coz a lot join for that mainly, and after that, when they are more confident going around the site, they inevitably find their way to the community and try to be more active.

also, that area is unique to the site so it would help to let it be known to the newbies that should they want to share their creations, they have a place (on the site) to go to. (a place that developed a thriving board of its own, with its own spore spammers and troublemakers its own invisible guidelines and where most active members are very nice to new-posters or new creators, and since the site is spore-related, the contest area is best for people who want to improve their building skills in the game editor)
