Everyday I see between 5-10 new people signing up the forums, but may one in the ten actually post. So I made this thread for everyone to introduce yourself. Say something about yourself or don't. Feel free to ask questions, talk with other members or just whatever. I guess I'll start

My name's Daniel, thouygh you can just call me Domfunkle, or Dom..most people call me Dom, but there are options.

I'm 18 and I live in Templestowe, which is in the state of Victoria here in Australia. I will be moving house in two months, but not sure where just yet (will keep you posted ).

I enjoy Gaming and fiddling around with my PC hardware, even if I do eventually brick my video card (still yet to happen). I also enjoy listening to Music: mainly funk, though metal has played a lovely part of my life in recent years. Funk metal's pretty cool too. Good ol' Rage Against the Machine. I also play the Bass Guitar too, which is why I got into funk, mainly because of the intricate basslines.

I've been following the progress of Spore since it was announced at E3 2005 and have been lecturing everyone I see about the awesomeness of its awesomeness. I even managed to convert a few more people at Uni today towards Spore, especially after showing them the newest footage. Spore will undoubtebly be one of the best Maxis games to ever grace my eyes and fingers, and I was once a The Sims addict back when it first came out. Hehe..the entire neighourhood drowned in my pool after I deleted the ladder

Hi I'm the anon, I've been waiting for spore since I saw an article in PCGamer last year, I'm currently attached to a desk doing my ECDL and webdesign in a large crumbling black tower and spend most of my day watching the clock and hoping this damaged part of the ceiling won't fall down while I'm under it.

I intend to be around untill either I finish the course (and lose my internet access) or websense blocks this site damned websense.

Likes: Games, catgirls, having money, sleeping.

Dislikes: Waiting for games, slow internet, websense, having no catgirls, having no money, having no internet access at home, getting out of bed.

Hi, my name is Matthew but online (and sometimes offline) I go by Tiger. I love to play games, climb, walk through the forest, and (just like the rest of you ) I can't wait for SPORE!! I am one of those graphics nuts. I love to check them out, but can rarely duplicate what I see (par for the course). I like to do 3D graphics from time to time, but I can't render them the way that I want to yet. Oh well. I posted it elsewhere but again I would like to ask Vulcan if he would like help with the graphics. (ESPECIALLY for the text game !!)

hello, I'm Justin, I live in the US. I played to much starcraft when i was younger. Thats's about all i'm willing to say at this point in time.

Greetz! Probably one of the oldest SOB's on this forum. Any one remember the net being almost exclusively text based? I do. I have been gaming since forever. As well as lurking around the net since the Mid 80's. I still have original copies of Sim Ant and Sim Earth along with Simcity (yes the first one). I am currently an Systems Engineer in NJ. Just thought I would drop by and say Hi. This game is definitely number one on the things to get list!

my name is steve, im 21 and i work on computers, and building construction. I love games that require creativity to push the limits (mostly sims games ) and i love playing the part in a game to make it seem like you are watching a movie, but you are doing the controlling of it all.

I found out about Spore only a few weeks ago and it's blown me away.

I've always enjoyed the creative side of games. In fact, when in college my friends would spend hours trying to unlock hidden characters and such in Tony Hawk on the PS2, I'd be spending all my time creating the ultimate levels.

I am so absolutely thrilled about this game and am looking forward to getting to know the burgeoning community here.

Hi. I just found out about Spore yesterday and went crazy over it trying to find realease dates and everything I could. Then I stummbled apon this site.

In my early years I too played quite abit of Starcraft, then other things. I basically play things until I beat them once or twice. Then I just go on to the next new game (if I have one). This may suprise you but, i'm actually ten, and I'm turning eleven on the 23rd of May. So yea.

I don't really play too many sports other than soccer, (or football as it is called in most countries) and tennis.

So that just about explains me. I also live in Pennsylvania in the U.S. of A.

Nice to see so many fellow Starcraft fans, 3 cheers for starcraft, I'd still be playing it if my cd's hadn't broken (yes both the starcraft and the broodwar cd's are busted)

Actually I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone mention doing a Zergling or Hydralisk style species in Spore.
