Well the ninja's have Pm'ed me about making a vip request thread. Now the fact that this was sent by a ninja makes me inclined to do as it says >.> So yea... ninjas, any ways. I don't know how the VIP process works but My names tophat and that's worth something (wait wtf this dictionary says tophat is not a real word I'm offended) so here's how this is gonna go down. You do realize that this is a dead site with an even more dead VIP than it was before and that there is actually people that are still active with higher post count and that are more known on the site than you.

The VIP member that PM'ed you probably joked with you or were bored, but this is just stupid and I do not care and you possibly won't become a VIP since only a very few (VERY VERY FEW) people can make you a VIP and they are all Inactive.

If you guys dont give this guy VIP you are misguided. I lurk this forum alot forr maybe months when Im not posting and tophat has put reviews up and contributed well to the site in terms of staying out of BS and just talking about games. I dont think I have ever spoke positive about VIPs in general terms but look I realise its not going away therefore if you are going to have VIPs at least for once have people thats easy going and has the ability to talk on many different threads being produtive whilst not being an ass

I dont like the concept of VIP but that being said with it staying and all this applicatiom should be accepted in my view

VIP system? There is no system, it is just for bragging rights. VIP's are no different than any other member. They only get to post in a VIP section which is also useless because as far as I have heard, nothing has been posted in there for a long time. Why even waste your time whining about becoming VIP...

Listen, I responded to your OP as if you where all serious as I have seen posts like that with people that actually are serious about what they post, I can't take it as a joke if you do not make it totally obivously, you could have put it in Drama and I would understand, but as it is know I would never respond as if it was a bad joke.

Also, I've not heard anything of banning people that act like me and calling them noobs, the fact that this forum IS dead is true, but the fact that the site is still alive with a few members still active is awesome and there is infact a little possibility for it surviving by growing into a new kind of community not talking about Spore, but moving on and if that ever happens, then maybe Dreamache will notice and write how awesome we all are and he will create a new site for us all to stay and gain profit from it.

We will be better off without people posting "The site is not dead! There is so much activity!"

Next time YOU post something make sure it is not a stupid faggy joke where people only laugh at how noobish the post is without them knowing that you actually weren't serious and it all were just a bad joke.

Also, I agree with you, it is kinder impressive how many responses and views a VIP-asking thread get, it just shows that some people are still thinking about the VIP and is still hoping to one day entering the doors and be blinded of its awesomeness, that is why we always wear sunglasses.

You obviously got it wrong my whole post, I was saying that if your going to try to get someone else as a vip then Tophat is a good choice. (Granted I had been at a barbecue yesterday and sank a bottle of Jack D and not long after posted but the post still stands I think the guy deserves it, also anyone that knows me here also knows that I wouldnt accept VIP because I have no need for it, judging by the whole way the system works its just away to make the powerless feel powerful and also for bragging rights as you put it, also I agree that members are just members , I have no issue with that and its what I have always maintained)

In fairness obviously there are some nice people as VIPs but equally so I have spoken to people who are actually very artistic and have contributed real stuff to the site in the past who havent been given a chance. My point being if your going to have VIPs make it as an incentive to good members, tophat is a good member and also accepting new VIPs proves the site is not dead; if people keep trying to make out the site has only the same veteran members left and lambast anybody who tries to expand its systems then the site will stay insular and will indeed slowly die. In fact I am so sceptical about the VIP system and the maturity of some that I was considering saying "Dont make him a VIP" and that pretty much would give him a better chance of getting it. (Perhaps I am wrong in this but who can truely say either way)

Fact is guys , I want to see the site getting some new people in and have always been like that, so okay maybe VIP hasnt been done for a while but still someone should PM dreamanche. It also shocks me as I can remember when some on this thread applied for VIPs them self but now that they are VIPs they want to pull the ladder up, sorry thats BS

Finally if you think I am asking forr VIP, well for goodness sake read my post again. The guys a good member, when he finds good games and stuff he lets people know, hes pretty objective, more so than alot of people here so give the guy a chance.

I know VIP isnt some big thing but its a good way to reward good members IF its used right so cmon show some acknowledgment of good members that are nice guys for a change.

Also tophat , I am taking it you did this as a way to test the water and say its a joke if things go bad but you should make it clear whether your messing about or not as xskell is saying, I actually think you would make a decent VIP (Basing upon past posts) so theres nothing wrong with asking, I think you should if you were joking actually just try for it for real

Tophat, this topic is you trying to be funny with applying as VIP as the base, well, that is what I guess after reading your second post in this thread wich states that the OP was a joke and not a serious matter.

What I posted were corrections of information from your post, I did tell you why the OP didn't look like a joke from my view as I have experienced posts that are serious with totally laughable content.
