This will be the last thread of this type but with so many games discussed here I just thought it would be an idea to ask you all to submit any FREE games that you found awesome, its just I reckon some must come up which will be great, you see I have been on the hunt for some indie games and have actually in my searches came across some freely made available X commercial games.

Some rules before submission:

The game MUST be free
The game can be ad supported but only within reason for example the player must still get full access to the game without visiting any BS sites or ad related signups, none of that crap please!
Also Im not talking demos, or demos that you have to unlock , must be FULL games, cant stress this enough

Realise site is quiet but still I put the thread up since if one person months down the line comes on and mentions one game I havent played which I then go and enjoy well its a success + hopefully it helps the site in a small way.

README:

Full Spectral warrior is ad supported and needs online access however if you have an always on connection you will experiance lag making it unplayable, so what I did was hauled my net cable out at the THQ logo and problem seems solved for the time being. Also not sure if the link provided is the link I got it from but it is out there.

Another more non technical thing is related to Area 51, as I have said many times I dont like FPS games so they arre short lived, that being said if you are an FPS enthusiast and looking for an FPS fix where you have some lightweight cutscenes , a story and lots of killing mutated things then you may enjoy this.

Relating to savage 2 there isnt too much of a differance between free and paid versions other than if you pay 9.99 you are able to spawn as the hellborn units as much as possible as opposed to once in your account lifetime, that being said it is perfectly viable to enjoy the many facets of this game without worrying about these units however its only $9.99 for a lifetime license so I bought one. The only other differances with paid is you get free access to all the s2 replays on the site and you get a free item (Which is not uber and doesnt upset game balance)

I'm not really into freeware games. Or, that is, never bothered to really search for 'em.

I remember playing Cloud, I love the beauty of the game, the game itself isn't my style, but flying freely in a world is just awesome, if someone made a good graphic and not buggy (flying trough stuff) and no actual goal, that would be awesome, I would love to kill some time with such a game.

Im playing savage 2 atm it is fun, requires teamwork

Im having a break though so Im downloading Gavity Bone now

Ok lol just started playing, that looks like one fucked up game, I like it

Yeah Gbone is good, I only start playing and know I will like it as I like original stuff

Btw If on vista escape button causes sporadic crashes, rclick the exe, goto properties>>compatibility mode and click disable desktop composition

Also set compatibility to xp sp2 and vista probs solved

Another tip which I was stumped for about a min with is press left mouse to put the note in front of you so you can read it in full at game start

If you know of any other cool stuff like that please share nice find!
