Release: Asymmetry Mod
http://spore.vg/mods/asymmetryhack.package
Drop this in your Data directory in your Spore installation directory (the directory that has the various Spore_Game.package, etc files). It disables symmetry in all editors that have it enabled. |

Rick, I posted news on the front page with it..
Spore Asymmetry Modification! I want to create a custom section on the left menu of xSpore for modifications... Want to control that section? I can give you editor access to it, easy to update, etc... Let me know... Also, this modification.. Say for example i create a creature with asymmetry, add it to the sporepedia, and it gets added to another user's game who doesn't have the modification.. what will happen? Does the asymmetry remain in place? |

A problem...
I've been using this mod for a few days, deleting the .package file whenever I want to switch back to "symmetrical". I usually do this once or twice per creature.
Now, somehow, even though I've deleted the .package file the hack is still active. There is no asymmetry hack in my folder, but the hack is still active in all editors and I can't seem to reverse the effect. I've tried putting the hack back in, starting the game, shutting it down, deleting the hack, and restarting. I've tried repollinating. I've tried deleting the editor save package. Nothing so far. Is there a way you could put out a "symmetry hack" to reverse the process? Or is there an easier way to reset the editors? |

It might be that your complexity meter is too high. Also, if you are using tags on the creature, take them off. Does anyone know if there is a new Asymmetry Mod compatible with Patch 4/Galactic Adventures? Mine was rendered useless. |
