Well, cheated the complexity meter with a normal memory editor, but anyway when it keeped refreshing. Ok, cheated that too, and when tried to save my creature, it says "Too many parts". See wha, bypassed too, and saved. But now I think: if the have such protection in the Creature Creator, how will it be on the net?

Even if you remove the meter, you have to remove the functions controlling the limit. You COULD just remove the limits and not the meter. There are probably conditions too so you get a checker when you save the creature or something.

Maxis Creatures

one thing that bothers me is that most of the creatures on the spore behind the scenes video and such and some other creatures from the cell stage have heaps of parts and when i try to recreate them it says too complex or not enough DNA

so i simply think Maxis has cheated in some way

Well, to remove the complexity, follow these simple steps.

1. Load up the CC or any other editor.

2. Ctrl-Shift-C.

3. Type in "freedom" and press Enter.

Problem solved.
