I disagree, unbalancing cheats ruin games, that's for sure but cheats that just do something fun don't. Big head mode in the ratchet and clank series for example, doesn't make it easier, just interesting.

Yes, but that doesn't actually affect gameplay, and you're talking about non-online play there.

Well theres always gonna be real powerful guys, its not like cheat created creatures will cause much trouble seeing as how its a balanced eco-system.

There might be cheats to get xtra DNA points or etc etc, however any creatures made in a game after cheats were used will probably have a "cheat" label automaticaly attached to them.

Wait a second...i thought that once you buy a tool (terraforming, warfare, etc.) you can use it freely without expense. I have to spend money everytime I want to **** around with a planet?! Damn.

they don't cost much from what I tell, I think the "money' is actually your energy reserves.

Because I mean, if you think about it, what's the difference between someone who has played longer than you and someone who 'stole' some DNA points? When you download them they'll still look cool/stupid, have the same personality, the same buildings, it's just they got there faster.

What is there when you download the actual file is what it is. How it was made is absolutely meaningless.

NOt really since those with more easy earned DNA points (via cheats) can make better creatures faster so its unfair to those who play the game properly, i still dont want any cheats in the game.

there are probably going to be a few cheats but why use them? spore is already completely fulfiling in every way. beside you'll practicly have unlimited DNA points in the space phase

Cheats ruined all of the AOE games for me.

Build a city, big walls lots of towers.

Just remember the number of parts you can attach are limited so having lots of DNA is theoretically useless. now a cheat to let you have more parts could work

Actually not useless with DNA points you can make stuff like more creatures with the creture editor without actually having to evolve creatures.

Tell you what, if they come out with a cheat that lets you supersize and over-supersize body-parts I will use that. That might be entertaining. Well at least for an hour or so. Make creatures sorta like WW's canary with 30 mouths; That was funny. I, however might attempt to creat a scary being with it. Or the Jolly Green Giant(r)(c)(tm)
