It seems to be really hard to get noticed for featured content... well for me at least.

I think that my TreeHall is well worth being featured, you may disagree.

Yes getting featured is impossible. I have some pretty awesome stuff that is way better than the featured stuff...

I'm actually using it as the City Hall for one of my species. It's really good. So good, it inspired me to fiddle with a natural building, too. XD

I just commented on some of your stuff.

It does seem near impossible to get featured. It's either dumb luck, or it's because you have a vast and endless pool of friends to vote on your stuff because they think you are a god....

Anyway, although I'm usually not one to gloat, I have some pretty impressive stuff, and I haven't yet broken the most popular barrier to start me on my way. I'll probably do a spore cast so I get notice that much more. If you guys want to take a look, my sn is blyon90 of course. My art themed Talmon race and video game themed projects will have you guys interested fo sho. :]

That building is pretty good but I agre with the fact that getting featured is for the most part something impossible to pull off. I have made some stuff better than the featured stuff and have downloaded stuff others have made far more deserving of a feature.

Don't get me wrong some featured stuff that should be featured such as this.

regarding the eyeball creature... i noticed that the 3rd comment refers to it already being featured. so it' not related to the number of comments a creation has ... even i've got a couple things with more than 2 comments lol.

maybe it is related to the thumbs up/down thing...
but with the sporepedia as slow as it is in a browser (plus the fact that on IE6 you cannot actually click the rating buttons), loading like 400+ items on any page... well i'm surprised anyone has the patience to go and thumbs up things... really should be possible to do it in game if you ask me.

(after all, this is a casual game, and i doubt a casual gamer would go on the web to rate stuff... too much effort, and also not something that is obvious how to do, since there's no mention of giving ratings in the manual or anything)
