Nekoyaki's Insectopia

Here's my list of creations so far: Sporepedia
More tomorrow.

I plan on filling my galaxy with countless different intelligent insect-like races and civilizations that reflect different types of cultures, etc. Descriptions coming soon :P

I don't have the full version yet. Probably going to have it this week.

Hope I'm not gravedigging here (only on page 2).

Full version of CC finally arrived after two weeks, yay. Today's creature:
Second species of bumblebeetle, the crystalskin.

yay for bumping
But seriously, these are great, we need to keep good creatures like this in easy to see places, so even lurkers know who to get the best creatures from, and that only the best come from xSpore.

Heh, cool, this is still on front page. Anyways, I got a little lazy, but here's an update ^^

Zrithoan Rocksprinter

Jhukan Lakefly

Draeian Pegasusfly

Those who've looked at my Sporepedia the past week would know that two of these are not-so-new. I'll conjure up some more creatures tomorrow, I'm running out of ideas XD

I'm planning possibly a website to function as an in-depth database for Insecto(pia/pius). Stay tuned ^^

Alright, since Spore isn't out yet, I've decided to draw up my own planet
I'm going to try something new today and start posting sort-of encyclopedia entries.

Quote:
Genos

Planet Background/History:
3,500 years ago, before space travel was possible, the Insectopian race lived under this same planet, Genos. After the massive galactic migration--shortly after the invention of space crafts and terraforming--the planet was almost entirely deserted. Most of the original Insectopians fled from their home to search for more land in order to sustain their ever growing population. Genos, now long forgotten, has nothing more to offer than untouched wilderness and abandoned ruins of cities and civilizations.

Inhabitants:
Genosian Quarythe:
One of the few to stay in Genos after all these years, was the humble Quarythe. They have always valued the ancient past and lived to learn more about it. There are fewer than a thousand Genosian Quarythes left. They live in secluded villages with only the necessary resources, avoiding any sort of foreign trade, especially with extraterrestrial Insectopians.

insects are awesome alot of the time but i dont make too many of them... I made 1 or 2 in trial version but after that I've mostly been making things that would probably have mammal characteristics
