Spore

This Creature is known as Flippy,
and is a critter amongst the Drivatos ( Drivatos is a Race iam currently working on ).

Flippy is a small mammal the size of a house cat. it is derived from the "Bed Fish" (fish with beak consuming plant life ).
Due to over population the plant life on the ocean bed started to weed out.
Flippy , its name hinting to its small tail fin has has evolved into a air breathing mammal.

Flippy evolution has lead to the discovery of a blow hole , located on the tip of its beak.
The hole allows him to breath without having to open his beak and has a bone like disc
to shut it of when submerging.

Flippy's most notable evolution is his legs. His legs are short, fat and barely
mobile but its feet give him a very strange quality.
His feet are comprised out of a hollow bone chamber. Filling it up by letting air into them
will allow flippy to rise to the surface and then float on water as he heads to the coast.
Flippy has hands that are very poor, derived from his flippers the webbing gone to allow use of his very fragile fingers. Flippy eats the coast line vegetation and is hunted by many creatuers.

His survival skills are this, stay near the water and move to wards it and dive.
Flippy has one huge disadvantage, he is deaf.
Flippy has no ears and there for relies on his sight which is excellent.

Meet flippy !

PS Flippy can move his hind legs and his front arms horizontal to use for swimming .. the bones in his feet can be filled with water and then he can use them to manouver.
