It is mostly my opinion from what I have read about the game and the demo they'll release

Not necessarily. I distinctly remember reading an article about a month back which said there's a good chance of the creature editor being released 2 weeks prior to the game. I'll see if I can dig it up, but I definitely read it in a reputable news thing.

I've been reading loads of different stuff over the weekend, far too much really because I can't remember what I've read where to quote references but I'm certain I've seen a few review sites stating that a pre-release creature editing suite is planned. It could just be a rumour of course, though it really does sound like the sort of thing they'd do, there's plenty of precedence for this.

but the sporebobs should of made the thread 'thoughts on Spore demo'

and he shouldn't of said ''they are'' he should of said 'the way i see it, they'll most likely'

I guess that's a question for the mods to decide, whether or not rumour, gossip and speculation threads should be flagged as such as opposed to stuff that's been reported by an established and likely reputable source. Then again I reckon at this stage its probably best to assume most things wont happen then we can all be wonderfully surprised when some of these goodies and features actually materialize! A brand of thinking I like to call optomistic pessimissm!

It's true about some kind of demo being released early. They haven't exactly made a 100% commitment yet but they said they wanted to.

Asking for a url is a good idea, but remember when we get news we get 20 at a time so it is hard to keep track.

Of course, I completely understand - but no harm in asking in case it just happened to be readily available, fresh in your memory

I'm starting to scribble up some Spore info things and having to be meticulous about where I get my info from but its so difficult when most of it is reported 3rd and 4th hand - I've wound up getting most of it from the Event and Conference Videos because they can at least be cited directly as a first hand source lol! Don't think I'm the sort of creature that is naturally evolved for journalism
