I used colored pencils, they're good for coloring I'd just prefer to do it digitally. I just don't know how to do it very well digitally yet. As for niaphieradon I don't know, just wait to see if Josasa wants another predator or if the creature moves to land.

i like the first 2 pencil colors doing what u done with pencils digitally is pretty hard, i could give it a go with adobe photoshop though if u give me how u want it painted.

Oh and beast u really got to learn to cut down the images to jsut be the size of the creature(with paint copy the creature to the top left corner and drag the blue square from the bottom right cornor to the creature) or link it from a URL, as attached images dont scale down.

Bulkadon Colouring.

Here's an example of how hard it is to paint(could use improving):
It was made in 3 stages shown below:
Bulkadon Original

Stage 1: (1st layer, Background Coloring)

Stage 2: (2nd layer(copy of 1st stage)Hair Coloring Added, Layer reduced to 50% opacity)

Final Stage: (3rd layer, Detials, Highlights and Touchups)

Now thats one computer art that looks like a pencil drawing

P.S. If you have photoshop the PSD can be found Here
Dont know if PSD's work in Paint Shop Pro

Quatriomite Colouring.

I got bored and did another (hope u dont mind)
The principals are pretty much the same and again was done in 3 stages:
Quatriomite Original

Stage 1: (1st layer, Background Coloring)

Stage 2: (2nd layer(copy of 1st stage)Blotches Added, Layer reduced to 75% opacity)

Final Stage: (3rd layer, Detials, Highlights and Touchups)

PSD again can be found Here

Generally when colouring i will use those 3 basic stages and maybe add more depending on the complexity of the colouring. Each picture also took about 20-40mins to complete.

Photoshop 7. lol i prefer less fancy tools cuz they start to confuse me.

all those colourings were was the "fill bucket", customised Brushes, using Opacity and the "Pencil" tool. Oh an the texture tool in the layer properties for the scales.

Here is my... er.... thing....

http://img418.imageshack.us/my.php?image=monster1wd.jpg

hes called, um, Garsoraptor, and he hunts in pack to take down prey. Suprisingly he is an omnivore and is very social. His tail spike is storng yet precice and he uses it as a basic claw, manipulating the environment. Im spore terms, he is just verging on tribal phase

I decided as i got very bored today and coloured in all of nukes pictures i'd post them in a gallaery post so here they are: NOTE: All pictures were created by Nuclearchinchila, I just Coloured them in using Adobe© Photoshop 7.0

Bulkadon: (Showing the 3 stages of Colouring)

Quatriomite: (Blotchy Skin)

Created @ 14:48 GMT
Torza: (with scales)

Created @ 15:30 GMT
Eutawkentoomee's Enemy: (Done in only 2 stages)

Created @ 21:00 GMT
Eutawkentoomee: (Yummm PINK! with yellow spots)

Created @ 21:27 GMT (only 27 mins to complete)
Thungan: (This one actually took 4 stages, The extra being Highlighting + Shadows)

Overall: I quite enjoyed colouring in your pictures today. (obviously lol look at the results above) Both the Eutawkentoomees' were the hardest to Colour as they had lots of small gaps between black lines to fill. I also managed to give every single one of them a different colour which i'm very proud about
So all thats left to say is: You got any more for me to colour nuke?
Notes for future Colouring:
Detail lines are important but better spaced out like on Torza for colouring purposes. Unlike Eutawkentoomee (although i realise they are close to look like hair )

i did say that originally but i got 2 bored today and started playing around because as i said its really nice to work with good drawings for once, if u wana give me colour schemes i can always re-do them. Plus i was more kinda doing it to show the kind of results you can get from using the computer compared to your pencil coloured drawings.

Nuclearchinchila, i don't mind if you post those creature's on here. They are more the property of xspore.com seeing as the people registered here are the ones creating them, although the predators won't voted on. So if you want to you can post them here.
