OK, heres another one I made,
This one is called
Oolincth
It can retract its head and tentacles into the dark green shell like a snail.

look at what i drew in paint!
I call it the Cone Spider! it isn't looking to good around the chompers but hey it's paint!
it was hard to do the fangs..never could get em' right..but anyway here it is!

How do you know they're useless. That creature could walk around and have those arms pick up the skimpy plants that live on the planet. Or maybe the creature runs above its prey while the smaller arms attack it.
(I find it kinda fun to think of reasons for different designs)

actually, they are for tending to the egg. they carry it around so little groud dwelling creatures dont try to eat it.

WoW Sharklovers last creature looks pretty awesome, ooohhh this makes me wanna get Spore So Badly now. I Have a rough idea on how i want my Creatures too look, but whether i can make em on the editor is a different Story

wow the HACHI looks like those creature in metroid... and its kinda cool, personally since i cant draw a happy sun correctly ill use an existing image of what i want to build... a freaking zergling

(of what i can see there will be a few pacific plant eater in the few first day after the release :P)
