I was thinking about making an apex predator sort of creature with big teeth, huge claws, and spikes coming out from every which way, but then it hit me: nothing is more fun then running your ass off from a big pair of snapping jaws. So, squirmy little bottom feeders, I know you're out there! Let us band together under the great rocks we crawl under! Vermins Unite!

So you mean you want a creature where you have to run from everything? If so chances are you will get killed over and over depending what is on you're planet.

Yep. i plan on making the most harmless of all creatures. And to make it more satisfying. The little bugger lets out a hideous shriek when you bite into its innards. It only has one leg,positioned awkwardly to the side of its body,so it shouldnt be too hard to catch .

Man this is sad! i am actually planning for my 1st creature to be some little guys who run round in a pack. They're gonna be complete herbivores. I dunno why but im actually more interested in giving large pack herbivores a couple of runs before i attempt any carnivores just wierd like that! ah well just means im gonna be providing all you predator obsessives something to hunt!

that isn't always a bad thing... easy to get a huge population, and you could always have them eat plants so they dont need to hunt... *shrugs*

I wanna make a tiny lil dog thing, but make it a vicous carnivore lol. They would hunt in uber big packs of like 70

Well you have to think about it, about 90% of everyone will go predator at first. Everyone wants the ultimate predator. Which is of course, human. lol. I plan on making a human first, but if I decide otherwise, then I will just make humans as another creature later on. But I plan on going carnivore at first, then switching to omnivore later on.

What I mean by ultimate predator is a creature with built in weapons that makes it real good at being a predator. I would not call the human species the ultimate predator. We have no natural weapons at all. I want a creature where it's body is a weapon. So I want it to have alot ot spines and teeth and all sorts of other natural stuff for it to attack and defend it's self.

I never saw geckos in the wild I think, but I did see lizards sticking to the wall and ceiling.

Same, Human creatures would be as high as stars and stripes creatures on my 1st to annihalate list .

Looking at the responses on this thread i think i gotta say that i think its the rebels who are gonna make small herbivore creatures. And as we all know rebels are cool
