I'm confused. Is that there geometric pattern some type of worm or snake? Nicely done though it lacks chracter, or really any way to define what it is. I'd like to see it in 3d to get a better idea of what it is.

By the way, I'm working on my creature if anyone cares. It's almost done.

I will try to provide some explanation. Originally I did not give the size too much thought, but I have gone back and checked. Assuming the one cell evolutionary stage is 20 microns in diameter, the final stage is only about 1 centimeter long.

Nonetheless, the creature is relatively well armored and has evolved a stinger and prominent "helm". The shell is transparent partially because of the limitation of my skill with vectors and partially because I think it looks neat anyway. The creature is more flexible than the image really shows.

This in particular I do not understand. My creature does not look like anything here, does it? Is it because it is not colored?


Anyway, Soukou has taken a lot of time to make, but I may decide to color the final stage after all. Perhaps I will also change the size of the cellular stages so that the final stage is less puny. Also, I don't do 3D images, sorry. ¯\(°_o)/¯

I am not cocky I just do not want to loose to a paint picture. Now if I loose to aberthesabre who has that neat loooking picture I am ok with that as it really looks cool. Also I though it was unique that he chose a microscopic creature.

This right here is the festunt. It's arms have no joints, though they do shoot fire hot enough to burn stone, making them excellent tunnelers. They are dedicated to building a heaven out of their closest moon, which is made completely of marble. Their home planet is planned to become a huge place to train for war, and grow animals for food.

That is not a bad picture what program did you use to make it 3D? Also I like the gun arm idea that is real neat. However how would they make stuff without hands or anything to manipulate objects? Do they just use there slug like tail or something?

First off, I used anim8or. Secondly, each finger shoots fire and can move. Notice how I said there were no joints in the arm. Using their fire-shooting fingers, they can carve whatever they need, or just carry stuff around.

Also, if you want to use anim8or just go to Anim8or Free 3D Animation Software and download the software. I also suggest you try the eggplant tutorial as well as the walking tutorial (don't do the animation part, just build the figure)

It would be cool if I made that creature in that picture I drew 3D and animated. Also they could use the tail to manipulate objects as well.

That would be cool. It would take alot of patience though. Also, chances are that there would be multiple problems which would arise, so I would suggest starting now and submitting next month
