I like the Spore enthusiasm and I must point out something. xspore has it's own xsporepedia which allows other user's to rate and comment the creations posted by xspore members.
This thread proposes a decent system and I have no real problem with it. I would however like to suggest using the xsporepedia as the rating system to help keep this thread from becoming a huge wall of comments and an endless sea of "stuff" Conclusively, please, post your creations on this thread but use the xsporepedia as the location for comments and rating, otherwise this thread could get messy.

I would like to see this thread be the start of a more active Spore community. Although I think the process needs some adjustment so it could work properly. Perhaps it would be best to formulate a more coordinated system for such a 'showcase, comment, and rating system'. OverNine's proposed system would work fine for a small group of participating members but I speculate that this idea could become increasingly popular over a short period of time, which is why I previously stated that it would be beneficial to somehow make more use of the xsporepedia (user comments could even be posted on the official sporepedia while the rating system stays on xspore). Additionally, a quota on how many creations are showcased daily or weekly might be needed in the future; otherwise only the 'popular' creations would be collaborated.

Good old days = Lots of people on site
Seriously, when Spore was just released, this site had hundreds of people online at one point. Thousands of different people were visiting daily. Then Spore sucked. Everyone left... Now we stay here. We have a tower.

Then why isn't this site famous? This site got ridiculously famous when Spore was about to be released. Then it was a flop and no one came back.

Getting back on topic: How about we start this community creation rating idea proposed by OverNine?
It would be prudent to agree on a set of procedures before a new thread is created to begin such an endeavor. (feel free to voice your opinion to better fine-tune the following 'stuff'). -All participating members must maintain fair criticism and be mindful. -Participating members may post the following within their creature posting .....*A short abstract about anything relating to their posted creations (how they were made, thoughts, critique requests, ect). .....*A general request about other creature styles they would like to see (more 3 legged, 1 legged, 4 eyed creatures, ect). -Participants should post no more than 3-5 creations per post per 4 days. -All comments and ratings may only be submitted through a pm to the creator, posting a comment on the creature's xsporepedia and/or on the creature's official sporepedia at spore.com. .....*Members should not post comments or ratings on the thread (all comments should be directed directly to the creature's page or the creator's xspore mailbox via pm). -Any rating system can be used as long as it is apparently fair (the use of 5/5 or 10/10 can be used by preference of the commenter or creature request. Explicated ratings are highly recommended.) **All creature posts should provide the game version requirements for downloading compatibility purposes**
