Arrabitis



The Arrabitis is a carnivore that lives in cool, moist areas, usually swamps. It’s 800 pounds and measures 12 feet tall from its feet to the top of its body. It’s tail, legs, and, upper body armor is made of a dark, crystal-like mineral. The armor at the head, feet, and arms are made of a flexible mineral that is moderately weaker then that of the tail, legs, and upper body. The armor at the junction of the neck, arms, and upper body are made of an iron-reinforced version of the armor at the upper body, tail, and legs. All the armor is devoid of the sense of touch, and it lacks any sort of audio receptors. The Arrabitis uses ducts on the top of the front and backside of the leg to smell out potential predators and prey alike. Once it can see prey with its eyes, regardless of how big or small it is, it rushes it. This sometimes is the creature’s downfall, because it can run into a pack of animals or a powerful predator, but chases it if it isn’t overtaken. When running and walking, the creature uses its 14 feet long, 200 pound tail to counter the weight of its 600 pound body. The chase ends soon after the Arrabitis kicks its prey with its feet. The paralyzing substance on its toes slows most creatures to a stop within a few minutes after applied. Then it crushes it with the club at the end of the tail. After which it uses the spikes at the end of its arms to bring the prey into its mouth located at the bottom of the head. When looking for a mate the male Arrabitis pounds the ground with the club. The female Arrabitis choose a mate by homing in on the strongest vibrations. This is the only time the Arrabitis intentionally encounter each other, after which they split apart. Its natural intelligent predator, Sawlamers, stalk them in groups in an attempt to harvest the strong armor of them. The Arrabitis ignore their scent because they coat themselves with the leaves of the trees. The predators climb onto its back and start cutting out sections of it with saws tipped with a mineral found in caves that’s able to cut the armor of the Arrabitis. Once they penetrate the under skin of it, the Arrabitis violently shakes in an effort to shake them off. If successful, it runs away, permanently scarred by the attack. But if unsuccessful the armor plate flies off, the Sawlamers kill it, then drag it back into their camp where it’s completely stripped of its armor and anything else they find useful.

Due to the harsh terrain the Novaxian female lays nearly 1000 egg's each mating cycle. The Novaxian has a body like a Velociraptor but have heavy armor plating to protect from there only preadator the Brungak.the novaxians like meerkats burrow and live in large groups. the male's are subordinate to the female's. they have sharpe claw's and teeth.there color's are mostly dark green and brown to blend in with the terrain.it take's ten earth years for the young to reach full maturity when this happen's they go through a sheding cycle where there small armor plate's are shed and new stronger larger plate's are grown.during this time alle the family members come together to protect the young one's until the plate's are formed. I have said before i am not good at drawing and do not wish to make a fool of myself so this is as good as a creature will get from me.
