I believe it increases as you evolve and stuff. You can also make "epic" creatures with your UFO. THhey can be the size of a large building to a whole city

I am not sure if you can make epic creatures I think I heard something about a creature someone mad at random becoming a epic creature. I am not sure about it and I don;t think it will be totally known till spore comes out. Though it would be fun to make an epic creature on some planet and watch the destruction.

WW stated that the size of your creature will be between a rat and an elephant.

Then WW is talking about some godamned big elephants, comparing to what I'v seen in a couple of screenshots and a video.

When you put it that way it kind of would look messy and just plain lame. I did not think about that aspect of having a big creature in the game.

Epic creatures can only be created by the computer, as implied by one of the newer articles. Thusly the biggest you could likely make a creature would be the max setting you could "fatten" it with the scroll button, how high you can lift the spine from the ground and the extent the legs will go down to the ground from the body 'blob' in the creature creator.

Also, I thought you could epic creatures? In one of the videos they talked about something like,"Yeah I thought this creature was so cool I Epic'd it in my game!" So I think you'll be able to.

Also, they've had several years to work on this game, don't you think they'd make Epic creatures attack properly? I do.

They've said that you can play the phases as long as you want.

I think if you play creature phase long enough you'll get the points to make your creature as big as you want, eventually epic-sized.

Logester is right. Epic creatures weren't even in the game when WW mentioned this, and I think it's safe to assume we will not be making epic sized creatures (at least not that we can actually play with).
