I Hate myself for not remembering, i know the spikes are similar to that of the common Eggman first boss like in Sonic Advance.
The are also Badniks that bare a good resemblance to your creature. grrr i remember versing a boss so similar to that.............argh i can't remember which one.  Thats it im getting an emulator and all the old Sonic games. I haven't played Sonic Mega Collection in So long im losing my Sonic memory.............. Been playing to much Phanatasy Star Universe.

sorry man, so tired and havent played the classic Sonic games in so long, ive only been able to play the classic games on Sonic Mega Collection which considering how many their are, is not too many.
I would guess Sonic and Knuckles. A random guess, god i need the emulators so badly.
