He drawn them with pencil, then coloured it with Photoshop. And if you look carefully, some pictures have a to scale drawing. The Phalanx has a 6ft man drawn beside it, showing that the Phalanx is about the size of an Average Joe.

Yea, I'm starting to do that with my hand drawn pictures, except it takes a long time cause I don't have photoshop, I have paint.net which can be just as good but time consuming. My avatar, for example, took like 2 hours to paint.

I like the way he scaled everything though, that was nice.
