I love the Metal Gear series more than any other but they really need to get back to their roots. An MMORPG Metal Gear iS just stupid. Even if it were great it wOuld be a bastardization of what MetaL Gear is. MGS4 was far too Halo-tard friendly as it Is. What they neeD to do is make killing people hard again. Mowing down enemy soldiers should only occur during the alert phase or near the end of the game. Focus on making smarter enemies and a more immersive environment.

MMORPGs are not compatible with MGS. They cannot convey a message as MGS can. If I may be honest MMORPGs are not relevant or culturally significant because they cannot be anything besides tools for enjoyment. Lets put it this way: A microwave cannot become Shakespeare. (Try to get around that unwieldly metaphor) MGS needs a player focused and linear story to be as artistic as it is.

I like your idea, but I don't think it is appropriate as an MGS game.
